So I'm pretty bored sitting here at work and I was looking at noradsanta.org. Santa is currently in Charleston South Carolina. He should be making it up here to PA pretty soon.

In an attempt to save some much needed cash I'm thinking about cancelling my television service. If I do this will I still be able to have cable internet? Yes...I am a complete idiot when it comes to this stuff.

That's a great way of looking at it. I myself will not be able to make it home for the holiday's. I live in western PA and my family lives down by Atlanta. Due to class and tests I'm not going to visit until mid January. But I look at it this way, I can volunteer to work all day Christmas so that others can be with their families. That's what'll get me through, knowing that I allowed others to spend the holiday with their family.

Hell...$11 an hour is more then i make at my actual job.

I thought of that but my work schedule is really screwy. I work for an ambulance company so it's not exactly a 9 to 5 type deal. That's where the real problem comes in. I never know what my schedule is going to be like week to week. And as a full-time employee I'm not allowed to put in availability to ask for nights off or stuff like that.

So I've made the decision today that I want to move. I have no family and really no close friends in the area. Only problem is I have a whole $8 in savings. I'm hoping to be moved within the next year. I've narrowed my choices of where I want to move down to 2. Either one will require more then $8 to move there. I love my job but it doesn't exactly bring in the cash. Is there something I could do on the side to make some quick easy money?

Yes, i was asking for dating advice. However I quickly realized skymama and the others were right. I needed to take time to find myself first. And I've been doing just that. I haven't been on a single date yet. Yes, there is this one guy that I'm very interested in but I've been stopping myself from jumping head first into a full blown relationship with him. I'll be the first to admit that at first I thought I was ready to go straight back into the dating world. But thanks to the wise words of many I realized that I was wrong. I have no problem admitting that I've made some bad choices in the past but I think I'm learning from them.

He moved into the apartment complex after things ended. Though it's only fair to say that this is a very small town and he didn't have many other choices.

Yes I did do the dumping...but it still hurts. Haven't you ever broken up with someone then didn't like seeing them with someone else at first? I think it just hurts knowing that he's able to get over me that fast. I'm in no way a cocky person thinking I'm the greatest thing god has given to men. But it does hurt to know he was able to get over me that fast.
