I miss having a kitty. Hopefully after I get my finances in check I'll be able to get another kitty.

Ever think that maybe those weren't the exact traits that made them admire her? Maybe it was the fact that she was brave enough not to take the easy way out and have an abortion? Or maybe it was the fact that she isn't like 95% of teenage girls where their first concern in what everyone else thinks of them and the most important thing in the world is being popular. Did you not realize that no matter what that couple was going to split? She was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Better it happen before the baby is in their life then the kid having to see it when it's 5 or 6 years old. You say it's a sad look at someone's sad life? Well, not everyone's life in this world is all peaches and cream. There are lots of people out there who have that very same life. I couldn't tell you how many girls in my high school had babies before they graduated. I knew of one girl who had 3 children before she graduated from high school. At least Juno learned from her experience.

We can stick up for each other...check out the DD forum.

LOL...that would be a completely different video...I wanna see it.

Just saw this clip on Americas Funniest Home Videos...Poor puppy.

Wow...it's the complete opposite here...kinda. The dispatchers have problems with crews not wanting to do their jobs. Everyone is all happy and nice until you send them on a call or heaven forbid a basic non-emergency transport. Then they get all pissy with us.

is this a pass me the bleach bottle thread???Quote Starting to sound that way.

Rock of love...who else is obsessed with this stupid show?
iluvtofly replied to fireflytx's topic in The Bonfire
I agree. I liked her at the beginning of the show but then her true personality came out. She's all body and no brain. -
Be nice to Sunny. If she's a dork for playing Guitar Hero then what am I for playing DDR?

I saw it a couple weeks ago. I loved it. I also quite enjoyed the soundtrack. I highly recommend it. It comes out in DVD tomorrow.

Trust me...when I get those kinds of calls I wanna tell the person to shove it up their ass but I can't. My all time favorite call was from a local nursing home. They called at 0300 to send an 88 year old woman to the ER because she was lethargic. NO SHIT SHERLOCK!!!! I'm only 24 and I'm lethargic at 0300...does that mean I should go to the ER??? Dispatchers hate those kinds of calls just as much as the EMT's and Medics do...mostly because we know we're gonna get bitched out by the crew for waking them up for a BS call like that.

Anytime Monkeyboy. I was fortunate enough not to be working last summer when someone femured at my DZ. Unfortunately everyone I work with remember the guy who double femured 6 years ago so I get alot of people telling me I'm crazy and such. To those other folks who are appreciative of their dispatchers...thank you. There are alot of EMT's and Paramedics out there who think we just sit on our asses all day. They don't realize just how much goes into a day at work...especially a busy day. So thank you for your appreciation.

For those waiting for Lee's 'SKINNYSHREK' closing pins

Same thing Spence said. -
It's dispatcher appreciation week. I didn't even know this existed until I came into work today and saw a gift for me sitting on the counter. So be sure to thank your dispatchers for all the hard work they do. (And no I'm not just saying this becaus I am a dispatcher.)

Then: Working towards my A, planning a wedding, living in the same house I was in college with all the same people, working part-time at a job I hated, jumping as much as physically possible. Now: Have my B, divorced 2 months ago, getting ready to move from one apartment to one about twice the size for less money, working a full-time job that I aboslutly love. For the first time in my life I've been completely on my own with no dependency on anyone. Despite the fact that I have no money being independent feels awesome.

I can't even see let alone spank my own monkey because of all these damn muscles.

Happy Birthday...Aries chicks are the coolest chicks

How much was your EVOC? I had to pay for mine but it only cost $10 so it wasn't that big of a deal.

Doesn't bother me to much. I didn't plan on leaving here anytime soon anyway. Plus it's a privately owned ambulance service. Not a huge profit margin comes with that. So it's pretty much comming out of his own pocket.

Had a bit of a scare this morning as to if I was still gonna be able to go. But fortunately it all worked out.
