I wonder if he was even using the safety cable because he never slowed down in the areas where it was bolted to the rock meaning he would have to stop and disconnect the safety cable from one side of the bolt and move it to the other side.

Just special edition DVDs. I'm guessing it's a promo to make hype for the new one comming out. But I don't have them and I'd really like a copy of each but like I said I'm going to do my best to behave and not buy them.

That really bothered me that they put suicide in the title of that video. There was no evidence of the guy getting hurt let alone killing himself.

I love that they're all comming out on DVD Tuesday. But I'm going to try my hardest not to go out and buy them all. Although I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to. Must restrain self...must hold back...damn this sucks.

This is what I love about holidays...all the good movies are on tv. And seeing as how it's been a slow day at work I've gotten to watch them all. First all 3 Indiana Jones, then Saving Private Ryan, now Forrest Gump.

Holy Shit dude. Be sure to keep a cool WET cloth on it. You also might wanna go get it checked out by a doctor. A few years ago I ended up getting 3rd degree burns on my shoulders from the sun. (That's what happens when you spend one day at an amusment park with no suscreen then all the next day at a water park with no sunscreen.) So I can feel your pain.

That sucks. Unfortunately Indy is over now. So now I'm watching Saving Private Ryan. Haven't seen this movie in forever. Kinda forgot just how good it is.

The crazy thing is that he really doesn't look all that different considering how long it's been. He's 60 and I think he still looks pretty damn hot.

They're in the middle of showing the trilogy on USA. I love these movies. And despite the fact that I still can't believe they actually made another one I'll probably still go see it.

So lately I've been splitting my time between my full-time job and packing at the dz. I'm lucky in that the person who does the scheduling at work is doing the best she can to schedule me around when the dz is open. Anyway, I was originally scheduled to have today off (so that I could be at the dz). Well a co-worker asked if he could switch with me so that I would work today and he could work tomorrow (he was wanting to go visit his mother's grave for mother's day). I took a look at the forcast and saw that the weather today was supposed to be shit. So I went ahead and traded shifts with him. This would mean that even if the weather turned out to be nice I could still be at the dz for most of the day. Well then last night my boss called and asked if I could also work the morning shift today (meaning I'd be working 830am to 11pm). Knowing that the forcast still called for shit I said sure. Typically when I do stuff like this is backfires in my face and the weather turns out to be great. Well, I'm sitting at work and it's windy as all hell and raining right now. For once it actually all worked out for me.

Logbook question. At the begining of this season I noticed that the last 2 jumps I did last November I had put in my logbook but never got them signed. Is it ok to get them signed off on now? Or should I just leave them unsigned?

"That didn't go quite as planned"

So one of the things I'm seriously considering doing to get my life back on track is going back to school to become a nurse. Thanks to my current job at the ambulance service I have decided that I deffinately want a career in the medical field. My biggest concern is balancing my work schedule and school schedule. The school I want to go to is in Pittsburgh about an hour away. I've already decided that for financial reasons I'm going to go to school part time so that I can still work full time. My question is for those of you who have gone back to school and continued to work full time how did you manage your work schedule and school schedule and still have time to study enough??? Thanks for all help and suggestions.
