So they don't and you wouldn't because it would cause inflation to soar (and you would only get 80% of your wealth back in 5 years). That proves how bad of an investment it would be. Why would I throw $100M into something that would only return $80M? All while causing the basic costs of everything to climb exponentially. Maybe you want to make the poor even poorer by raising the costs of everything ... PS: What do you believe would happen if the wealthiest top 5% of the world population destroyed (not donated, spent, etc...) 50% of their wealth tonight? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Yeah, we only think less of the people who prefer 5 cells. Do you believe a harness/container plays a role in openings? I have a PD Spectre 150 loaded at 1.1. The openings are "slow, soft and on-heading" and "fast, hard and on-heading" depending on how I pack it. (Note, I deploy in a max track.) I am still playing with the canopy. It can be an extremely nice canopy when it opens "slow, soft and on-heading" and I have the sky to myself (so I can play with the risers and toggles). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

... shoot through the roof tonight if the wealthiest top 5% of the world population donated, spent, etc... 50% of their wealth tonight (it's not like they couldn't live off of the other 50%). Why don't they? Would you? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Week Suit Weekend - Skydive Atlanta Sep 29th & 30th
Butters replied to ScottGray's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Are the requirements for the first flight training the same as the recommended minimum (200) or determined on an individual basis? Thanks ... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch -

Thats why I dont think group tracking jumps are necessarally good tracking practices. These tracking positions are awfull. Question, do you believe these are awful tracking positions or awful max tracking positions? The reason I ask is that I am really into tracking ... almost all of my jumps are tracking jumps. I want to become a really good belly and back tracker and eventually be able to dock and form formations (if I can find other people to track with me). If you are tracking in a formation you have to go at the speed of the worst tracker in the group, or you won't stay in formation. That's why tracking dives are not good practice for max tracking. Thanks. That is what I thought. PS: I went on a tracking jump last week with three other people where point had never been point and was one of the most skilled trackers ... right away the point went into a max track, needless to say the group began to separate both horizontally and vertically and never came close to forming a diamond. My head was on a swivel ... The next tracking jump was with two other people where point was one of the least skilled trackers. We formed a close proximity triangle, it was awesome! Sorry, I had to share, I just love tracking ...

Bin Laden Calls for Americans To Convert to Islam
Butters replied to JohnRich's topic in Speakers Corner
So do I ... but that hasn't always, isn't, and won't always be the case. When the checks and balances of the government fail the people, the people must become the checks and balances. Stop volunteering and the war will stop. I remember Afghanistan (and Pakistan) and I agree. You think that is all that matters? There are plenty of other places with oil ... why don't we attack them? Why, because there is more to the story. Edit: We should never have had to invade Iraq. Iran and Saudi Arabia should have already taken care of Saddam Hussein ... "That looks dangerous." It is a volunteer military ... if you don't want to fight (for whatever reason) then don't volunteer. If you volunteer and believe you won't have to fight ... study more history. I'm not saying we always fight for the right reason ... I'm just saying that we always fight. PS: Do you believe we would remain in Iraq if we had to have the draft? I don't. "That looks dangerous." Brain function of liberals & Conservatives differs

Was it intentional? It is entirely conceivable that this was intentional given the abilities of some current BASE Wingsuit Jumpers. He passes over the first clearing, flies over trees, then pulls over the second clearing. However, I can only dream of having that reality ... If intentional, he is amazing. If accident, he is lucky and better be learning (or else he'll be dying). "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Fixed it for you. Imagine having your local priest decide that your family had wronged some other family. As reparation, he decides that all the men of the other family get to come over and gang rape your daughter or little sister. Is that really a culture you can get behind and defend as being no worse than ours? Are you referring to faith or culture? I already agreed that some cultures need to get their shit together. Fixed it for you. The things you described are committed by people of all faiths (and even people with no faith). Don't believe me, take a look at the poorest of poor areas in the United States of America where people are routinely murdered, raped, etc... "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch

Yes, the people in power that can change the system are also the ones that don't want the system to change. I am willing to bet that if someone in power did try to change the system they would be outcast by both political parties and both political parties would create distractions (as if they don't already create distractions). Well said!! But there are more letters from self in left than in right ... I dream of the days when the system was comprised of more than two parties. So different, and yet so the same. "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
