Yeah, I was kinda shocked that went so strongly against medical cloning, considering that the ethical issues are so less compelling, and over 55% of the american population support it. He said quite clearly, he would only sign a bill that banned both. He would never sign something that only bans reproductive cloning. My take on this, is that the house will not give him the bill he wants, and if he stays true to his word the US will not have a anti-cloning law at all. Definately. In fact it happened to Missy Nelson about two monthes ago. Missy was extreemely lucky. With both hands pulling she simply could not cut-away her spinning mal because the twists had gone right down her risers to where the cuttaway cable is housed. When she got low, she simply pulled her reserve while still under her spinning main. The reserve pilot chute came out, instantly started wrapping around her. She fought the reserve pilot chute, and eventually got her reserve to deploy wile STILL under her spinning main. Through sheer luck, her reserve opened (line twists, obviously). She then cut away the main and got out of the line twists before landing. If you're ever at Skydive Chicago ask her or Roger about it. In my Javelin J3, I've put the following. Triathlon 190 Diablo 190 Diablo 170 Spectre 170 Stiletto 170 Safire 150 Crossfire 150 Lotus 150 Samurai 150 Heatwave 150 Stiletto 150 The only one that concerned me was the Heatwave. For whatever reason the one I had packed up WAY smaller then any of the others. I still had tension on my closing loop, but all three closing flaps were loose. RW jumpers are pretty specific on fall rates. If you're going to do any RW jumping at all, it's important that your jumpsuit has the right degree of baggyness or nylon to get you at the right fall rate. Freeflying is less fall rate dependent. You're going to want a baggy suit so that the extra drag will help you maintain the assorted freefall positions. You are correct. The record attempt is the 4th and 5th of may at chicagoland in hinckley. if people are only willing to do one trip, that's the one. A bunch of us are getting togeather at Morris this weekend, we'll be jumping, and having tons of fun, enjoying good weather. We'll be practicing our RW skills, too.
