  1. I think you should avoid France because you must have an AAD to jump in France. How about Portugal? Heard a lot of great things about it. http://www.skydive-portugal.com - Easter Boogie & Go Vertical Free Fly Boogie from 12th to 27th April. Spain - Lillo http://www.skydivelillo.com Spain - Castellon http://www.2fly.at Switzerland - http://www.paracentro.ch/index_2.htm awesome view of Alps and lake.
  2. Sure I'll post you next week. Cheers!
  3. Really?! Would you bring it to AGM for me? Wow, what a nice bloke! Yes it will be great if you did that - some free beers for you! We'll talk more about putting my 144 in your rig and some jumps (Feb/Mar) on it when we're at AGM. Wonder if it's a narrow yoke cos I have a very small shoulder and skinny - i don't fancy to slip out of it when I try some headdown! It's very easy for you to spot me cos I am deaf guy - well there will be 5 deaf dudes at AGM - lots of hand signing in the air! I can email u my pic of me direct. What do you reckon? Many thanks!
  4. Do u have about £400 spare for my rigger? He'll need to fly from UK to USA! Pretty please!
  5. Thanks very much. Hope Paul'll bring it to AGM...
  6. I looked into it and quite impressed with it. I wonder if anyone live in UK have a Wings rig? Maybe we could meet up and I have a look at it? Any chance can I do some demos on it in UK? But I don't know I'll have a chance to do it cos I don't see one in UK yet. If I ordered it I'll be probably first person to own it at my local dz - Sibson or any other DZs. I am not sure if it's good idea to do that cos a local rigger might not know what to do with it e.g. how to pack reserve in it. What's your suggest? Many Thanks!
  7. I want one!!!!! It's so cool! Firebox.com - Segway Segway Videos:- Consumer User Commercial User
  8. Due to debt it grounded me 2 months now then haven't see blue skies since... Save money up for a new rig - 3 months to go....
  9. Just curious where it happened? Look like it's in somewhere France... That must so painful freefly jump!
  10. I had a few bad experiences in rec.skydiving and uk.rec.skydiving. When I asked a question or give my own view, many replies I received was not that great and I wasn't really impressed with answers. Some were slammed in my face and take the pissed out of me . I learnt very little from there and I was being extremely careful what to ask/say in rec.skydiving or uk.rec.skydiving. Time by time I grew out of it and lost interesting in it. Now I really like here - DZ.com and am very happy cos I learnt so much from you all. Few thing best about you - everyone respect each other's view and we will to discuss and share over various topics etc... Dropzone.com forums rocks!
  11. Other geek computer here! I am a CAD Technician - Civil Engineering. At the mo I don't have much works to do - about 6 hours surfing the web each days! But it can get so boring e.g. ran out of ideas to find funny, information, interesting etc... stuffs on internet though.
  12. Ahhhhh lovely! I have to work today but this link changed my day
  13. 180 jumps this year - could do a lot more if I don't have £2500 in debt. At least I paid it off! No jumps in October (due to debt) and only did one jump on 2th Nov. Then I haven't see blue skies since 2th Nov. Hope I will do at least 200 jumps, a 3 weeks trip to Perris in Sept for Deaf World Record and a brand new rig in new year 2003. But who knows cos I'm about to date a lovely girl - wish me good luck!
  14. Try to puke some after a bit too much drinks! Not sure if it is not good for us. And drink lots of water (2 to 3 pints) before u go to bed. Set a clock alarm at 5am, wake up, swallow some headache tablets then sleep it off. Have some full English breakfast. Expect that you won't be at 100% next day. It seems work every time for me! I dunno if this works for someone else. If you don't want to have hangovers forever - RUN a mile if u see any beer, spirit and wine!

  16. Hmph! It said I'm a Movie Star!!!! I was kinda hoping I'll be a true skydiver.... I'll think twice about my career! I guess it's better being a movie star's cos I'll get brilliant £££££ than what I am doing now.
  17. Oohhh lovely rig! Container colour - is it royal blue? I have difficult decide which colour I should go for - Light Blue or Royal Blue.
  18. I have see some of them at my DZ. All of them are BASE jumpers. I reckon Suunto's more common in BASE jumping than skydiving cos they find it easy to measure the height of object and give them work out how long delay etc... Not sure if it's very accurate.
  19. Not Dave - I got it wrong. Other stuntman/skydiver was Scotty Milne. Never heard of him.
  20. I'm considering to order a brand new Odyssey and Tempo 150. Which Odyssey container sizing is better fitting for Tempo 150 and Safire 144 - TJNK or TJNK.5 Javelin container sizing chart link I checked Tempo 150's packing volume is 294 cu. in. It's almost the same packing volume as PD Reserve 126 (296 cu. in) - do it mean Tempo 150 can fit in a container reserve sizing for 126 to 135 no problem? PIA's canopy comparison chart link
  21. No. The name started with Dave something I can't remember. I could be wrong. I asked Alex about it a while ago. He said this guy was a stuntman. I'll have a look in magazine and let you all know in about 9 hours! (I'm at work )
  22. This stunt was done by Meacock brothers from Sibson DZ, UK. Stuart Meacock was the cameraflyer and Alex Meacock was the tracker and other guy - I don't know his name. It was mentioned on BPA's Skydive Magazine.
