Great job, man! This thing is running faster than ever now.. Mike
-
I hope he's gonna be ok, and recover fully.. Is he the one that was jumping the Crossfire 129 with white top/bottom skin and blackberry ribs? We left around 1630, so it must've happened just after we left.. It was definitely a freaky weekend for mals and reserve rides, too.. Mike

Yea, you held your liquor......but you sure as hell weren't walking straight, or able to stand without the help of a car to lean on......Oh, wait...maybe that was me.. I remember it all....but I think the beer goggles might have distorted the truth a bit.. Mike
-
Just a little bit.. And it was pretty damn weird being on a jump with 8 people and only one camera(mine)! Mike

Hell yea...that was a damn funny video.. You held on to the tube, though - which is more than most people would've done.. Yea, yea, yea....I went low out the door....but I got back in it for 2 of the 4 points.. You guys were floating until you went for the third point, then the fall rate picked up quite nicely and I got right back in.. It was an interesting dive, to say the least.. That was definitely cool.. My back track didn't work very well right out the door at that speed.....I only held it for a second or two before I got flipped a couple times.. The video shows I did two complete flips, the first one I was still on level with the airplane.....maybe the track worked a little bit.. Try that slow sit thing I showed ya......it really works.. Yes it did... Good food, decent beer(thanks to whoever it was that shared their Bass with me), and lots of chicks......woohoo! I still have no idea how much I drank that night.....but everybody was asking me the next day how I felt..

Where's the fun in that?! If you play your cards right, every now and then you both end up under the table together.....or on top of it... or....well, you get the point.. Mike
-
But you'll always be a legend in your own mind... Mike
-
Not if you can't remember who she is.. Fortunately, I can remember her vividly as she flashed us.....well, from the neck down, anyways.. Mike
-
Damn, that sucks.. Hope she heals fast.. Any idea how long she's out of commission? Hmmm.....I recall you saying that you couldn't make it to Atlanta Freeflight because you had to work, or something like that......but you were jumping on Sat, eh? Hmm.. Mike

The DZO needs to be advised of this, so that the person in question is either straightened out or fired.. If somebody will do something careless like that with a low timer, I'm sure she will do something stupid with a student as well.. That was undoubtedly an incredibly stupid stunt, and the low time jumper had every right in the world to be extremely pissed off, and to even kick the living shit out of the instructor, IMHO.. That's what I would've done.. I've had somebody do something similar to me once.. As we went through 2.5, I pulled out my pilot chute and showed it to him......he was gone before I knew it.. Mike

Try taking supplements of Vitamin B-6.. The normal dosage in supplements gives you something like 2500% of the RDA for B-6.. Mosquitos seem to hate the stuff.. After taking it for a couple weeks, you should be almost immune to mosquito bites.. It's worked for me.. Mike

Well, my decision altitude changes based on the canopy I'm jumping and where I'm pulling.. Normally, on elliptical canopies, my decision altitude is 1500', and I pull at 2500 to 3500.. On some other canopies, I'll pull as low as 2000 - and then my decision altitude is more like 1200'.. I don't pull at 2000 on a regular basis - just if there is a need for it, such as a large group with staged breakoff/pull altitudes.. If I'm in freefall when my last dytter warning goes of at 1800', I'm going silver if I'm jumping any elliptical or snivelly canopy.. If I'm jumping a fast opener, that is not a sketchy opening canopy, I have 2 seconds after that warning to pull main - after that, it's silver.. I know, seems like a lot to think about.....but I plan my dive and dive my plan every jump.. Mike
-
You bum! What could be more important?! Plus.....you have the raft..
-
Uhhhh......because it tears off at around half the speed that I fly head down? Mike
-
And just remember.....I'm the one that decides when, or IF, you go home.. Mike
-
No need....there are people that can fall with you no problem....like me.. Just jump with other bricks.. Or enter speed skydiving competitions.. As for the original question from Omri.....I say get the full suit.. The manufacturer will build the suit based on your size and fall rate.. Mike
-
Nothing spectacular.....everybody knows why the chicken crossed the road......the bar was on the other side.. Mike
-
$40?! Damn.....you cheap bastard! I'm more expensive than that.. Mike
-
And then you start petting the canine next to you, and after a couple minutes......you realize.....it's her! DOH! Mike
-
Hell yea, sounds good to me! We'll have to introduce Andrea to the beacon rides, since she doesn't seem to know.. And you know how somebody has to ride the beacon when it's their FIRST time, right? As for the playground thing.....well, I'd rather you keep the details of your female preferences to yourself.. Mike
-
Can you say fake ID? Mike
-
Well, I definitely agree with the first two......but without a helmet, what would my camera attach to? Mike
-
I bought a G3 M3X with Unisyn and deluxe backpad, and I feel it's worth it.. The rig is very comfortable - in the plane, in freefall, and under canopy. The backpad makes all the difference in the world in the plane.. Mike

Well, you COULD use a smaller PC, and it MAY help.....but I doubt that's the main issue.. If the problem got progressively worse, either your packing got progressively worse, you're getting partial line dump(are you using tube stoes? if so, try replacing 'em), or your lines are going out of trim.. Call Roy - he has(or can get) line trim charts for the Hornet.. Have him fax you one.. If you don't think you can measure the lines yourself, have a rigger do it....shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes.. If none of that yields any results, you could try a bigger or pocketed slider, or try psycho-packing it.. Psycho packing tends to tame bad opening canopies, IMO.. Mike

Sounds like exactly what I was looking for a few months back.. Any idea when they are planning to release it? I definitely would like to check one out, and possibly get myself a new camera helmet.. Mike
