    The ejection seats in all modern aircraft are known as zero-zero seats, most made by Martin Baker, IIRC. They are designed for a survivable ejection at zero airspeed and zero altitude. Most of the seats are self righting, as well....so if a pilot ejects while in any attitude other than perfectly upright, the seat will "fly" itself upright. Supposedly, if a plane is completely inverted, this will occur with less than 300' altitude loss...pretty damn impressive if ya ask me.. Mike
