I know that... Just for my education, i'd like to ask - how do the scaling their containers - in what dimension - in width and length, width and height, in width, length and height - but how they keep proportion to have recomended loop for all reserves? Lexa

If they make closing loop on reserve the same - how do they scaling container? Only by changing length and width (to hold triangle proportion the same)? Or, I miss something on my geometry lessons in school? Lexa

Some mnf (like PD) has such instructions on their line trim chart, so no... Is there any "standart" method how to measure that slack, or how big it has to be - copying measur. from old lineset is not the best way, i think... Sorry for bad English... Lexa

We made a lot of jumps from brige 50 m (160 ft) by PCA, over the ground, that gives us about 2-3 sec of canopy fly. Now we a planing to make some show with jump from bange-jump tower in the center of the city. Alt - 40 m (130 ft), over the water. I can make PCA from there, but dont want to land in water - if I'll have 2 sec of canopy fly - I can land on ground (to not wet my lovely Ace 260, without vents or ZP top skin...) Lexa

Packing instruction a little bit difficult for me - I dont understant it without pictures.... For all - how do youy pack them in.. If somebody can help - I need max. different ideas about directbag and variants of packing. May be - fotos or drafts... What is the lowest safe alt to go with DB? Sorry for bad English.. Lexa

PIA TS135 (submitted for new TSO standard) on line
alexey replied to councilman24's topic in Gear and Rigging
I read that document, and found some not clear for me places: 1. Is it OK, that manufacturer can be certified for any weight, or I miss something? 2. There are no procedure for calculation or measuring peak opening force 3. What does it mean - non-positive locking device? There are no such term in previous document 4. What does that mean in - Test condiotion four in 4.3.5.3? 5. In 4.3.7 - if manufcturer trying to recieve certificate for some rig with such MOS and MPOS - 240 and 200. if we calculate: MAOT=5,3 s and MAL=533 ft. Is't it a little too big? Sorry for bad English :( Lexa -
Have someone the last updated drawn for 3-ring risers (with reinforcement). If it will have exact measurements - it will be perfect... Sorry for bad English... Lexa

Thanks for your info... The last question - if you need (somewhy...) to make it with E thread - you have to make 66 inches of stitching (actually less, if you use type 8 webbing) Can you make 5 or 6 or 7 (whatever its need to be) points cross stitch - its simplier to sewn thick materials with straight stitch? P.S. Pure theoretic, just for info - how far can you gj from Pointer :) Sorry for bad English Lexa
-
I dont want to do it - I just asking - why not? (If you CAN do the same streght some how) Lexa
-
Can you make more points in stitch parrern - i.e. - 5-6 points cross stitch? Or, you can use zigzag? Sorry for bad English... Lexa
