I've seen one of those. On Andy Farrington's Xaos-27. I believe he made one himself. Then Andy's a master rigger too. I never quite got it when I saw the setup, even after much 'splainin'. Dunno why or how something like that could improve the performance of his ride if you've ever seen him. He's one heck of a Talent Royale so let's leave it at that. My other ride is the relative wind.

Dunno 'bout field dominance, but I take it that the picture appears pixelated (if there's even such a word) as in interlacing problems? Well I ran a test by capturing an NTSC movie, saved it as (.mov) NTSC, then converted it to (.mpg) PAL - never got around to playing much with QT - and the result was more pixelated than the original. So I guess you're right. BTW, the test was done on the following conditions so feel free to critique. - eMac running OS X 10.1.4 - QuickTime Pro 5 for edits, conversion, ++ - Captured movie using Formac Tevion 1.2 (SW) and Formac Studio (Analog Digital converter HW) My other ride is the relative wind.

Though I've got an eMac, I still use GIMP on my Linux box 'coz I can't afford Photoshop. I was just looking to see if there was anything like GIMP for OS X, and ran into PhotoFX and MediaEdit. I haven't tried either but probably will soon. My other ride is the relative wind.

Well my old DZ got shut down after our #8 went in. He was like busted for trafficing drugs and shit. That took out he finance dept., so we couldn't afford fuel for the skyvan, and the bank repossessed it not long after. My other ride is the relative wind.

I agree with AggieDave. Keep in mind that while you are paying good money for an education and he makes a living as an educator, respect goes both ways. And respect is not like that comment. Be nice and get the insult out of the way first. Then ask what he had expected out of the exam question. Then try to level with him with your point of view. I tend to buy used as I'm new to the sport, and the prices of the items I buy drop faster than Wiederkehr. So looking on eBay, DZ.com's classifieds, or just look all over the internet. The only items I've purchased new are my Altimaster III and Pro Dytter, both from Aerostore. And Paragear for hard to find, or no time to find items. As for photography, I go to bhphotovideo.com. I would recommend to anyone going to buy from them to really know what they want. B&H is not the place to get suggessions ++. Then again, I still scout their used dept. first. I also go to local pawn shops. It's amazing what you can find there.
