Whoever told you that skydivers should never give blood had absolutely no idea what they were talking about. Recovery periods for skydiving after blood donation are the same as for any other strenuous activity. You will be fine. Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. They ring the bell and runaway... I think that if you try to sue, you will fail miserably. This will make your situation much worse than it is now. If you are instructors, you know, or should know, that this is a sport where you can do everything right and still get killed or worse. Also, since you have yet to provide the exact sequence of events and give only vague and contradictory information about the system involved, you sound like a troll. Please post the sequence of events, the reason for the "contrived malfunction" (and a definition of what a contrived amlfunction is) and the sequence of actions. I've had two rounds of knee surgery. Expect a minimum of 6 weeks until functional again, and about 12 weeks of PT before you're back to normal. Using arthroscopy means that you won't have major incision issues but you will have the same basic recovery time as most other forms of surgery. Good luck. Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. I got through mine by cutting away and pulling the reserve. Just make sure that you clear the risers because there might not be enough drag to clear them. Skydivers don't knock on Death's door. You can get fully airworthy used gear for a reasonable amount of money. Just be sure to be somewhat picky about who you buy from. The best thing a rigger can do is to got o Jump Shack and spend a day with Mike. There is simply no substitute for getting factory trained with the latest techniques. It only takes a day and you get a cool t-shirt too boot.
