Spaceland Red Bull Wings Qualifier Pics

Not bad -
Yep. I was yelling "gimme a sammich!"

That was one of the canopies I was talking about. Pete Markow has one in his Eclipse and we had two in our Eclipses on the USASOC team. The only thing I didn't care much for on the Icarus was the fact that it opens in full flight. The Cobalt tandem opens and flies awesome with similar, very-light toggle pressure. The Hop 330's have proven to be outstanding, small Tandem mains also. Chuck

You don't know me.... Mark, Jess is a total hottie. Chuck

Ramon, what's up with Butts? Did he not compete? As to the question about PST guys, yes, that is what we are saving for. Chuck

a title referred to as "yard bird" in the construction business. Is he living in the big tent, Betsy? Chuck

I second John's vote for the Sigma (and the Sigma 370 main). I would never consider a tandem harness and container other than a Sigma at this point, but I must admit that I do like several other mains. Chuck

Tony is registered, but only very-rarely posts. Kate, on the other hand, has turned into quite the little post whore! Hooty HOO! Regular Raeford people that post with frequency are Droopy, MattM, Padewan, me, CM, DaGimp, KatieBear, etc.

Ray, a few years ago some travelling vietnam vet skydiver rolled through my dad's place (Skydive Opelika in Alabama) and was caught red-handed in the middle of the night emptying all the gear out of the loft. Needless to say, it was a very bad day for that guy. It was truly handled "Alabama style." When the law arrived, there was little for them to do other than scrape this scumbag off the driveway. Chuck

Why thank you... But, you my dear, are far hotter than I. Get a room, monkey lip! MonoUno

That's fantastic news, Rob. On another note, I read that you are managing the Pell City operation; very nice. Take care, Chuck

Who you calling short, you circus freak?! I am loving you a second time. MonoUno

SunCheHag, Trevor Hill will not be lodging in the MonkeyBago. Lisa, Rancho Deluxe is four slots over from the MonkeyBago, closer to Aviators, so it's even less of a stumble. Chuck

PST adds online registration...

This is an easy to use tool. I did my registration this morning; it took about four minutes. Chuck -
who's going to Red Bull wings in Houston this week?
SkymonkeyONE replied to ramon's topic in Swooping and Canopy Control
Have fun, Ramon! -
I have $800 in my AFF ticket, but my jumps were free. I totally recommend having the course director show up early for a pre-course. There is absolutely NO substitute for doing practice dives with the person who will be grading you in the course. Chuck

Pimp Daddy! What's up, my brother?! Talkback has been more of the same old drivel, so don't sweat it. Chuck

As of yesterday, the current plan is to put the loft back together with a 4-bunk "Raeford Hilton" that will actually sleep six people. The loft is coming back together very nicely. The construction crew, "taterhead incorporated", ought to have the inside walls resheathed in a couple of days. Bottom line here is that it is entirely possible that the bunkhouse will be open by then. Than being said, I have offered up room for at least three couples and there are plenty of other places to stay in the RV ghetto. Those that simply "must" stay in a hotel can stay in the Days Inn about 5 miles from the DZ and a nice bed and breakfast which caters to skydivers. We will accomodate you one way or another; I promise. Chuck

While the NSL and it's sub-leagues are great at promoting 4-way, it is in fact a for-profit business. Your area is not alone. The Ranch has it's own league also. Personally, I preferred the old "council" system and I miss competing in that forum. Chuck
-
Yep, there are some great folks there. Joe Bennet is one of my best swoop tour buddies.

That's coming up quite soon, isn't it? First come, first serve on lodging in The MonkeyBago (now used solely as a "guest house" on the plantation. No, you can't stay in Rancho Deluxe. Well, I might make an exception, but only to people who's feet don't stink. Chuck

someone please muzzle the gimp.
