Never mind Jarno. That doofus thinks Morpheus Tech is in Deland, FL. -
Morpheus is not in Deland, FL. They are in Zephyrhills, FL.

How it all started - The Birdman Prototype

I have a GS1 in my school. It actually got jumped this weekend! -
LOL! Dude, your speedo isn't hooked up. I got around that on my chopper by simply not installing one at all. Actually, I don't have ANY guages on my chopper. Also, turn the damn throttle and let that fucker GO, Nick.. Chuck

I own a LOT of wingsuits, both big and small, and I can tell you that my P2 is connected to my wingsuit rig for at least 90% of my jumps.

The bag that George Galloway built for Beezy Shaw's ash dive was excellent. I am pretty sure we used the same bag for Lee Gerard's ash dive as well. You might want to contact Mike Gruwell at Shooting Star Rigging at Skydive The Farm in Georgia and ask him about it. That or just call George at Precision Aerodynamics. I don't have either of their numbers on me, Chuck

I have always liked the german techno music you crackers use in your videos. Sexy. -
Skydive City in Z-Hills, FL has free camping, nice showers and bathrooms, wireless internet, and a "city hall" which has a microwave, computers, and a big TV to watch. There is also a bar and snack bar. Raeford Parachute Center in Raeford, NC has everything except the "city hall", but it has an actual restaurant and a real bar with all ABC permits Both have great instructors

I will be running a wingsuit weekend here at Raeford in conjunction with the 50-way invitational RW stuff that Louis and Ponce are doing at Raeford next weekend. We have a CASA 212, a super otter, and a PAC 750 at our disposal and I intend to take full advantage of it. Tons of demo suits by PF, S-Fly (Fly Your Body), BM, Tony. First Flight Courses Organizing and an NC state wingsuit record for experienced flyers Coaching for any level Be here or be square! Well, in retrospect, nothing I guess. I just played with the slo-mo playback on my CX-7 and is does look jumpy. Four of us just concluded that the slo-mo is less than 50% of "full" speed. On tape-based cameras I we are pretty sure the slo-mo playback was exactly 50%, thus, "less jumpy". Still, I wouldn't have a problem adding a bit of my CX slo-mo to a tandem video (if I were interested in doing those these days). We have two complete linear editing stations in Team Teamrrom at Raeford which we inherited from the dropzone school when they went NLE. Chuck

How to fix a SuperMach 1: make it into an S-Bird!
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Lurch described it perfectly, Glen. My SM-1, in comparison to my P2, S6, or even Raptor felt very slow and it was definitely not "flickable" if that makes any sense. Reason? I only weigh 150 pounds. Scotty burns still LOVES his old SM1, but he is a walking canonball (no offense Scotty). -

Also, Matt, it's more of a deletion of fabric than an addition. MUCH more manageable and faster. Not "washy" and "heavy" like it used to be. -
How to fix a SuperMach 1: make it into an S-Bird!
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Tony does conversions at the shop on older Mach1/SM-1 suits. I believe he charges people $400 for the mod. He cuts off the old wings and sews on completely new "Bird" wings complete with all the new stiffners, inlets, etc. I had my suit back to me in just over a week. It's fucking awesome. I don't know if I have any old pics of the suit in it's SM1 configuration, Matt, but you have seen it a hundred times. Chuck -
We used to linear edit on Panasonic WJ-AVE5 boards and DMR-E85H DVR burners. I personally liked that better than NLE, but the DZ traded over in the four years I was down in FL. Either way, no matter if you are jumping an HD or SD camera, we still all shoot in SD (HQ). No real sense in shooting in HD unless you are burning to BlueRay.as far as tandem video goes. Chuck

You aren't going to stop by Raeford, Joe?

How to fix a SuperMach 1: make it into an S-Bird!
SkymonkeyONE replied to SkymonkeyONE's topic in Wing Suit Flying
I hate to have suits hanging on the rack that I, for whatever reason, just don't like to fly anymore. Such was the case with my old SM1. After seeing a few friends with S-Birds I finally bit the bullet and had mine converted. It's fucking awesome. Check it out:
