Isn't that little analogy nicely tailored to your argument. I won't get a job until you cut out the food that we need. A better analogy to the current situation is that wife keeps buying shoes and maxing out her credit cards, and the husband keeps buying car parts that they dont NEED. They had set up a savings account to cover known future expenses, hello social security, but instead it was spent on eating out three times a week at crappy chain resturants. Now the roof has a leak but they already spent all of their home equity line. So now they want their teenage kids to work two jobs each to pay for their great financial planning. I still can't get past the whole middle school lunch table nonsense to get at what you are saying. TRICCCCCCKLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE TRICKLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE. ARGGGGGGGGGH FUCK SHIT KOCK BROTHER reeeeePUBLICcaaaaans. ARGHHHHHHHHH DRIP DRIP. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

One could claim that, but one would be wrong. If there were actually 40 years of contributions sitting out in some account some where, plus accrued interest then I would agree. The reality is that all the past contributions have been spent on general government expenditures. The account is balance is zero and there isn't enough current contributions to fund the expected future benefits. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I really can't reply to your message sweetie pie, I can't even really read it. The fact that you can't get your point across without constantly swearing, using far from clever rewording, and heaping on the dick lingo is far to distracting. CONSERVETARDS.... TRICCCCCCKKKLLEEEEEE.... RePUBIClicans..... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH You have some spittle in the corner of your mouth again. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I won't make that argument. I will make the argument that a return to pre-GWB tax rates will do fuck all to fix the deficit without serious reform to medicare and social security. The biggest component to our problem is medicare and social security. The democrats are strongly opposed to any meaningful changes to either of these programs, so are some republicans too, Why? Votes. Getting votes is more important that stopping the runaway train. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Why are you dicking around with a audible with only 7 jumps? Why don't you focus on looking at your wrist and flying you canopy for a few more jumps, before you start adding extra bells and whistles! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I don't see any one in here claiming that they shouldn't pay taxes and that they should keep all of their money. That is a false argument, nice try though. I do see people questioning their willingness to give up additional taxes when spending is out of control, they didn't elect the last 40 years of retards, and a large percentage of the population vocal about tax increases don't even pay federal income tax!!! Funny how the older generation is so big on personal responsibility, until it comes time to own up to their own actions. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Thats because when whites do something disgusting like this we call it like it is, violent racist assholes that shouldn't be sharing air with the rest of society. When it is a minority group that does something disgusting like this we focus on justification and rationalization. We start talking about reasons for the behavior, poor school systems absentee fathers blah blah blah, instead of calling it the way it is, violent racist assholes. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Actually, I would suggest you give it a shot. It would be right in line with all of the bullshit that you post. None of your hated bankers. Equality that only survival of the fittest could bring about, no birthright and entitlement. Nope just hold you own, make your own way. I wouldn't expect you to do so though. You are too busy living in you nice capitalism haven, sucking benefits from the bankers teat. Your about as silly as the american highschool kids the wear Che Guevara t-shirts while walking around with Starbucks coffee drinks and living high on mommy and daddys capitalism hush money. What a joke! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

doesn't mean it doesn't affect them. everyone's consuming - they just join in and get free stuff. what could be more natural (it's just like a banking bonus - but for those at the very bottom) meanwhile we wait for the 'official' riots probably some time next year - possibly the olympics... Why I am I not suprised that you would seek to normalize and rationalize a bunch of street thugs ruining the livelihood of hard working people. They aren't burning CEO's flats and RBS buildings. They are stealing and destroying the lives of people who built their business from the ground up with their own labor. The fact that you can some how put this together with bankers, and justify the behavior is probably the trashiest ignorant dog shit that you have posted on here in a while, and it shines a real bright spotlight on your character. Tell you what, I won't feel bad when some scumbag steals your camera gear or rig. After all it isn't their fault, it is the bankers fault. I won't even get started on your continued retarded rants about bankers. The irony of you living in a developed world, in a sport the rellies on financing and capital, and bitching about bankers is overwhelming. Go live in some dank cave, grow radishes and barter them for goods if you think the system is such shite. Bankers do plenty of good for the economy and the general good. When is the last time you helped create a job, or invested in a business? When is the last time a drug dealer, street thug, or looter did something good for the society and economy. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I find the article less then relevant. Considering that Reagan, Bush Sr, and Clinton did not have this looming medicare and social security nut to crack. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

You better cut that facts and logic bullshit right now. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I don't think the thread is very clever, in fact I think the premise is pretty stoooooopid. It implies that the primary solution is more tax revenue, and further implies that I am selfish for not wanting to give up additional money to be wasted for the government. What else would you like me to do besides kick in more cash. I don't use many government functions directly. The ones that I use indirectly I can't exactly give back my share. You want me to cut the military or the DOT a rebate check? The middle class and the youth of our nation are being squeezed by the choices of our elders past and the growing percentage of the population that rely heavily on the government and yet contribute nothing in return. I don't think the people in this thread are the selfish ones. I think the seniors whose elected officials spent their social security contributions, and failed to ever plan for their retirement, and who would shit a brick if we even looked at reforming social security or medicare in their lifetime, are pretty damn selfish. I think people who continue to have children while on state and federal welfare are pretty damn selfish. I think the medical industry that continues to raise costs well in excess of inflation is pretty damn selfish. I think the people who would rather sit and claim unemployment benefits until they are exchauted because taking a lower paying job or switching fields is beneath them, are pretty damn selfish. Don't tell me this doesn't happen to a great extent, I have heard on several instances from people that think unemployment insurance is the ticket to a paid vacation. Politicians... pretty fucking selfish. Corporations... pretty fucking selfish, but that is what they exist for. The working self made middle class selfish? Kiss my ass! What are the statistics on getting shot by some one, when you are at home in your own house instead of out robbing theirs. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I agree. Although I think it is a bit of a stretch to think that a cash transaction like lawn care is going to get full reported to Uncle Sam. The rich aren't the only tax cheats. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I will give up the ability to ever claim FEMA disaster assistance. Federal flood insurance is so under priced that it encourages irresponsible building and planning. If people want to live places that flood regularly and their only defense is man made levies they should bear the true economic costs of that decision. The rest of us shouldn't be subsidizing or encouraging this! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

I'll sacrifice Pedro, my illegal immigrant gardener, and pay a little more to hire an American citizen. Most American citizens don't want Pedro's job. Those that do want a lot more... "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Does FL have laws to protect this guy from civil suits? "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Yes you are right, there are situations where this can occur. I guess I could have been specific and said if you get a quality holster, that isn't worn out or over softened, that is designed for that specific gun, has good trigger coverage.... blah blah blah.... But it seemed a little outside of the focus of this conversation. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
-
Good! He is an idiot. They make holsters for a reason! I carry my gun with a round chambered at all times. I doesn't do you any good to have to fumble with the slide if you ever need to use it, which you likely never will. Put it in a holster and you won't blow your thingy off! "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

OK I will play. I will start at the state level. I will give up a large percentage of my states corrections system. It doesn't do shit for reducing crime and is designed in the favor of the corrections officers union. I suggest California do the same. They are locking people up, draining the state, for personal benefit. If I get robbed while I am away from home I will suck it up. If I get robbed while I am at home I will dig my own hole for the state. I will give up the free vehicle and free gas card that they give CT state troopers as an incentive for supposed fast response. As a whole I don't think this a major component of our budget issue, but it is a perfect example of wasteful state spending. I would rather have the suggested longer response time, than have to continue to see state vehicles with baby seats in the back of them on Sunday at Homedepot. What about the Federal level. I will give up some personal income by instituting a Federal value added tax. Sure it will cost me more money, but at least we can get the bottom half contributing SOMETHING! I will give up ethanol in my gasonline. Sure I won't have the same green feeling, but it will be balanced out by the fact that turning corn into fuel is stupid as hell. I will give up my 99 cent menu at McDonalds by ending farm subsidies. I am sure there is a ton of more stuff I can give up that doesn't involve raising additional revenue. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

My status quo is helping to keep the doors from falling off this hoopty. You really want me to suggest something else I can give up??? It is a moot point. Congress isn't going to get their shit together. Same thing with most of these state governments. My state taxes just went up drastically this year due to a property tax credit getting slashed, and some tax bracket changes. Guess where that extra money is no longer going, local businesses in my town. Now it is going to the state where it will have way less bang for the buck thanks to horrible state fiscal policy. I would be a little more welcome to more sacrifice if I knew that my money wasn't getting squandered on wasteful shit. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
-
I will stop being selfish, let see... I will continue to go to the job that I earned by paying my own way through college, and by busting my ass. I will continue to buy things with dollars that I earned to grow the economy. I will continue to file and pay my taxes, taxes on earning that I worked for. I will continue to help educate my girlfriends children by being around, reading to them, and not fully counting on the government run public education to raise them. I will continue to put some money away for the future, because you shouldn't expect that the government is going to support you down the road. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
