Chop it how, with a hook knife? I thought that this was possible in the past.... but you would have to cut the lines off all four risers. Well I certainly hope that a factory retrofit will work out. I know I would be sending back my rig, and almost all of my friends who own and ICON would do the same. Just don't let it get to you. I have done over 125 jumps since I started that have been just plain fun. Some RW, some sit flying, goofy stuff like noodle fight and rodeos. I may never get to be the best at any discipline, but I am going to love every second of free fall. "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

All I can think of is those kids from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle... EXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMEEEEEEEEE!!!! Who cares? I don't seem extreme compared to my fellow jumper. My jumping might be considered extreme by whuffos, but I wasn't trying to impress them. Well unless they are blond, young, and hot. I have skydiving dreams every night... I seem to have bounce dreams once a week. I also have dreams where I watch other people bounce, and when I go to investigate they are busy packing!!! LOL "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

How is a simple fraction going to confuse people? My instructor mentioned the concept in my FJC when talking about the parachute system and despite the overload I was still able to grasp the concept of my emergency procedures. I agree my comment in the FJC is a bit stretched, and yes I may be a huge asshole, so I apologise if I am out of line. This guy has no information in his profile and based on his questions he strikes me as some on that needs to spend more time talking to the instructors at the DZ, and less time posting questions on DZ.com "The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P

Benefits to holding a USPA license?

Personal choice. My thought was that my B license carried greater privileges like the ability to do night jumps, a lower minimum pack opening, and at most boogies the ability to get on helicopter and other special jumps. Since I my license carried more privileges I felt that I also had a greater responsibility to help others verify my credentials. It also makes it easier for me to sign peoples log books now.
