  1. I'm a skydiver! Why would I spend $1.29 on Kraft when I can get the generic stuff for 4/$1?? But yes, basically Kraft. Do you put the powder into the boiling water and go with it, or with drainage?
  2. 'Cept its no longer a mile to Chipotle, it's like 75.34 miles. I miss Chipotle!! *Editted to correct the milage. Dammit...farther than I thought!
  3. Oh DQ...don't be bitter about finding out that hot chick in the short-fuck-me dress was a dude. It happens sometimes.
  4. I should have gone grocery shopping tonight but instead went to happy hour. Now I'm hungry, but the cupboards are bare, and the fridge empty. I have a box of mac & cheese, but no milk. I have spaghetti sauce, but no noodles. Is it breaking Mac & Cheese law if I took the noodles from the box of Mac & Cheese and used the spaghetti sauce to have some sort of dinner? Of course I would save the cheese sauce mix for a later time. Just seems wrong to just throw it away.
  5. I like this one the best!!! Mine would probably start... "After an uneventful freefall..." But shouldn't all of ours?
  6. One year, six days ago...in some ways seems like last week and in some ways seems like decades ago. I miss Todd like crazy mad and it seems like there isn't a minute that goes by that I still don't think about him. I spent tne one year "AT" (After Todd) with the 3rd competition of the NPSL, flying inside center for Gang Green. Gang Green was Todd's team. I thought I'd never fly with Gang Green because it was Todd's team, Wissota's "A" team, but none the less, Todd's team. I wasn't particularily thrilled that a meet was scheduled for "that day". I imagined, and in some ways prefered, that I would spend that day alone with my head burried in a pillow and enough tears to later require me to change at least the pillow case. The meet was a blessing in disguise. Instead, I spent marking one year "AT" among family. When couples are together, the age old bullshit saying about "what's mine is yours and what's your is mine" gets thrown around. Todd has his family, and I had mine, but truly, the skydivers were OUR family. I am ever so grateful for what my and Todd's family have done for me, but it was good to be among our family on that day. I'm not sure what tomorrow brings, but for today, I love all my families, and I love skydiving. And today, don't forget to hug the ones you love, for today isn't soon enough and tomorrow might be too late.
  7. Donate! Donate! Donate! Seriously, if you like hot female skydivers and BOOBS! BOOBS! BOOBS! Donate, donate, donate! If you don't know anyone that is participating, go to www.jumpforthecause.com, click on participants and click on someone that hasn't met the minimum! Or if you know someone, and they have met the minimum, donate through someone who hasn't. This is a totaly group, team effort! But above all, DONATE!!
  8. If your thighs look like this (see attachment)... ...you might want to try oven mitts. Oven mitts worked for me. And they can work for you! Note: If you're female, I recommend "thumbs up". If you're male, I recommend "thumbs down".
  9. Skimmer Suits all the way. Kim listens and uses her experience to build the right suit for the right job. Plus she puts all her effort and love into every suit she makes. The fact that she's local for me is an added bonus. www.skimmersuits.com
  10. And there are members of USPA that don't skydive. Hard to tell which there are more of.
  11. 0:5:1 Three tandem videos (yeah, more $$ for www.jumpforthecause.com, one student jump video and my first cross country. Yeah, I said first.
  12. I remember sitting at Skydive Superior just off my A license and listening to Josh and admiring him for his jump numbers and experience. Good to see Wisconsin in the skydiving lime-light! Lynn D-29536
  13. 0:9:1 Four cool multi-point 4 ways from 5300' to 4000' (3 points on the 4000' jump!!), four tandem videos and one 8 way. Beer owed for #700.
  14. If it matters any, I went to update my address on the website and kept getting an error message after I hit enter. So I did it two more times, kept getting the error message and then resolved to call them in the morning. But after I checked my email, I got three confirmations of my address change. I didn't have to give payment info to change my address but if I were you, I would definitely find out a way to see if your renewal went through after all.
  15. 0:7:0 2 fun jumps and 5 competition jumps (the Pac is NO Otter!!). Found out today that I can track straight with one arm back, fully extended and one arm tucked into my stomach. Hopefully this shoulder pain is only old age and not a more serious thing. Luckily its the left, non-pull arm
  16. I know it's technically the 5th, but happy 1st anniversary of your first AFF-I jump!! You were so happy after that first one, and I was so proud. Skydive Superior is still waiting for your case of beer!!!
  17. I just started a new job and they have a tradition that every new employee must make lunch for everyone during their first couple weeks. I work for a food distributor so I can pull all the products from stock. The idea is that I have to stand in line and introduce myself to everyone, even those that I've already met and work directly with. I would love to cook some fancy meal and woo them, but I have to do all the cooking myself (so it has to be manageable) and I don't want to cook something too good that I get roped into cooking for everyone all the time. So above are my three game plans thus far. What should I cook? Or post if you have another viable option! Thanks for your imput!
  18. Fire up a Cessna! see you on Friday!..... Gang Green would love to do the meet out of the Cessna. It would level the playing field a little bit for us Cessna brats.
  19. Especially on NPSL weekends!!!! 12-13 hours for a meet is waaaaaay too long!
  20. Damn. There you go again. Every time you open your mouth you come up with something sane and honorable making more more points in your favor and making me wish I was 30 years younger. Who says I'm not into older men?
  21. Where's the option for "single and not playing the field"? I'd fall into the category of single and have not interst in dating. Dating is a crock of shite. A solid frienship is key to a successful relationship, IMO.
  22. Add me and my 17 jumps to that list and you have my first four way! Yeah...we turned a few points.
  23. I have the honor and privledge of jumping with two +10,000 jump wonders every weekend. Mary Bauer - Hit 15.000 about two months ago. Nothing like being at 9,990 feet and getting the "It's my 15,000th. Don't fuck up" sign two seconds before door! Bob Stumm - Hit 13,000 this last winter. Considering that Bob and Mary come from a 182 dz that's only open Saturdays and Sundays all year 'round, and Wed and Fri evenings during the summer...not too shabby. Yes, they are load whores!! And we love them for it!!! And don't forget Dan BC...over 24,000.

    pd pulse

I got 12 jumps on a demo the last two weekends. Packing is awesome. I could definitely notice the low pack volume and for a brand new canopy it was easy to pack. Openings: They were nice and on heading. This canopy WANTS to opening on heading. They were on the lower end of my comfort for snivels (meaning that I do not like the snively openings of the Sabre2 class and the Pulse was within my comfort zone but on the snivel end of perfect). Glide Path: Excellent. Got me back from some very long spots, and I liked the flat guide path when coming into land. It was not steep like the Sabre2's and Spectres, but flat like a Stiletto and Silhouette. Turns: Very steep and very fun. Recovers well. Like a Silhouette on crack! Flare: I wish it had just a little more "oomph" on the 2nd half of the flare. Doesn't have a "pop" factor, which is good on windy days, but a disadvantage on no wind days. The more I jumped it, the more I liked the landings. Front Risers: The front riser pressure was too much. I was doing pull ups and couldn't get the fronts to come down at all. I am eager to see how the Optimum material holds up over time. Overall, I liked it, and the more I jumped it, the more I liked it. I think that it flies a size smaller, and is more agressive than a Silhouette and less agressive tha a Sabre2.
  25. So fun jumpers got some air time on Sunday and Monday after those damn NPSL teams got done on Saturday? I wish that I would have taken a picture of your wingsuit masterbating!
