Well, that scenario is pretty much what got me started in skydiving a little over a year ago. Not a 'date', but sitting next to a skydiver who was still in the honeymoon stage. His enthusiasm was contagious and made me realize the vague dream could actually be a reality. Now if only I could find someone to date who would let ME talk constantly about skydiving!

I did-I filled my mp3 player with songs that get me rocking and when I was scared stiff on the walk to the dz, I'd crank them up. Now when I listen to them, I get a happy reminder of those crisp mornings in AZ when I was pounding in every jump of my AFF. A few were ones that I have to give Squeak credit for-he sent them to me and I still use them when I need to get hyped up. One is called "Crazy Bitch" and tho the lyrics aren't really what one would call motivational, there's just something about that song that I freaking love!!!!!! It's great when I'm doing cardio.

According to the Discount Tires website, the Pilot LTX are $192 per tire. But we do have some pretty unpredictable weather 'round here. There was snow in the high country this morning.

I hear you, I've gone that route in the past. But I'd just as soon get brand new this time around. This place gives lifetime free roations and fixes flats for free-and for 48 bucks I can get lifetime computer spin balancing. (Is that good?)

Yeah, well, it's not an excuse, but the ex is the one who was taking care of the car stuff. I was lazy and let him be in charge of it. I am currently driving on Michelins, and the ones I'm looking at would be an upgraded model. I'm doing a couple of raod trips over the next few weeks, so I am changing them a bit early, but I'd rather be safe.

Well, I need to buy 4 new tires for my Envoy. The current ones only have 45k on them, and the tread is worn down pretty far and pretty unevenly on the back tires. I've done my research, I think I know the pros and cons to the tires that will fit it, and I know that I need to be MUCH better about rotating and balancing and checking the air. Anything major I should beware of when walking into Discount Tires? I'm pretty sure I already know what I need, but sometimes you don't know what you don't know, know what I mean? Any advice before I go plop down 7 or 8 hundred bucks? Thanks!

Hang in there. Probably what is getting to you is his obvious lack of respect for you and for your values. Perhaps he has learned this from your husband? I could be off, but just a thought. It's hard to be the only disciplinarian and to not be backed up by your partner. You WILL get through it, as frustrating as it seems right now.

do blowup dolls count?/4/1 What a great day! Thanks to Squarecanopy for dragging himself out to the DZ just so I would have someone to jump with, even though his shoulder is giving him hell. Too bad our 2 ways sucked donkeys...lol.... First time jumping my new-to-me rig and yay no more rentals!!! Mile Hi rocked today. I met a lot of really nice people.

At risk of thread hijacking, I have a quick question- the other day at the movie theater, I noticed on the back wall a marquis-like sign that ran the closed captioning backwards (mirror image). Facing the screen, you'd never know it was there. Any idea what that is all about? Oh and yep, haven't seen the movie, but perfectly willing for the piratey hotness alone!!
