    I understand your point, and I agree with the concept. But the reality is, even at the age of 2, my daughter had very definate opinions about what she wanted to wear. I doubt it had anything to do with her gender identity, but she certainly had certain colors/outfits that she put up a fuss about wearing. (Of course, I could barely keep her in clothes...she preferred to strip down and run around in her diaper. Maybe an indicator of how she'll be when she's an elderly lady? )

    That is exactly what many of his followers practice... calling it love but it is unmittigated hate.. and it gives them a REASON to go after those they hate since they are the evildoers. So my new life philosophy is the same as Jerry Falwell's followers? Now I'm really confused!! I was basing it more on the teachings of Buddha and such....... How did I get into this minefield known as SC? Oh, I know, because it started out in the Bonfire and I was still on the bus when it started moving.......

    So much for leaving me in the dark, ya'll!! My new life philosophy is to not return hate with hate. Some of his statements are so hateful they're nearly laughable. Stupid, but laughable.

    ok, let me correct my statement: I can't wrap my mind around a child that young being aware that they are transgender.

    Interesting subject, interesting points made by people. I believe people are hardwired to be a certain way, and it's not necessarily something that is chosen. However, I still can't wrap my mind around a child that young being transgender. One of the posters made the point that these kids have known for years and years how they feel....but in that specific case the child has only been on this earth for six years....and for some of that time wasn't even capable of being aware of gender differences. Can a child that young already know that strongly? I'm not trying to argue any particular point; just wondering what the studies say about age in this type of situation.

    The bruises on the insides of your upper arms are probably from the container straps. With the rig on, can you put your arms above your head and touch your hands together? Try it. You'll probably see exactly where the straps hit you. I have the same problem on a rental rig. Particularly scary the first time I jumped with gloves on. When I went to unstow my toggles, my left glove got caught up in the velcro and I couldn't get it loose. I kept trying to reach over with my right hand to help, but could not close the distance because the straps were keeping my arms apart. It took me a little while to feel comfortable wearing gloves again! I also struggle with completing flares. After a layoff for a few weeks because of weather, I really noticed I'd gotten weak again this weekend. I even downsized and still couldn't complete the flare. Sometimes, tho, it's not just strength, it can also be the brake lines are too long. Short arms are just a nuisance when it comes to skydiving!!!
