Well, I'd be willing to go with Yokohama as theiry 40 bucks cheaper per tire....and supposed to be very good in the snow. Do you think they wear well as opposed to the Michelins? (given proper maintenance that is)

Well, being in Colorado, most of the Walmarts (and Costcos) don't have liquor licenses so don't sell alcohol. But Sam's sells about the same brands as Costco, and definately way better brands (at least for the stuff I've checked out) and quality than Wal Mart. I don't go into Walmart unless I have no other choice. But I don't know that I'd drive 50 miles out of my way to avoid it, either.

I'd drive 50 miles more for a Costco over Wally's. Pretty much the only times I go to Wal-Mart are when I get a gift card at work that nobody I know wants. All they sell is crap. Costco on the other hand has some very nice stuff that makes me want to spend lots of money every time I'm there. Blues, Dave Like I need any more help with that!!!!

REally? Why? I've not shopped at Costco a whole lot, but when I've been in there, they've seemed very similar. What's the advantage to Costco? Or is it just NOT giving Walmart the $$?

Never heard of them. I don't think we've got them here in Colorado. I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get the Michelins today. It will be nice for our road trip we start on Saturday.
