  1. well it takes big guns to stop texans O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  2. with almost 300 jumps on mine, i can't remember any hard openings. off heading?, yes but less once i pay attention to body position. end cell closed? used to have, but none lately. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  3. i call him a terrorist because he is one. he had a chance to become a historic leader but he saw diplomacy as a tactic and not as a strategic choice. "get all you can with talking, and get the rest with force" O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  4. come to israel the weather is better anyway... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  5. yes and no, although his actions were very brave, the peace with egypt is VERY cold. almost no egyptian tourists come to israel and their media and text books are still filled with hate and lies. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  6. true. but a note from experience... do what you have to do but be careful not to surprise others. its very possible that while someone is flying next to you (for whatever reason), keeping flying straight with no sudden moves is the safest thing. but as always, common sense and good practice (and a plan) are the key... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  7. the root of all evil... hope it wont turn into a bloody mess over there. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  8. you know, when i read these publications (and yes, they are true) i often think to myself that we're lucky that their inventions are so outrageous and absurd that no one could ever believe it. then again, if i was taught that the world is flat since i was a baby, i'd probably have believed it... peace must start with proper education, we can fight guns and explosives but we can't fight embedded hate . O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  9. yay i like being in people thoughts dead or alive, i say we let the french keep him... ok, i'm drunk and going to sleep now... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  10. less funny O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  11. not sure it will be worth spending the night in jail for attacking a public servant. why else would you booby trap an innocent looking backpack with a spring? O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  12. don't worry. it won't be long until israel is blamed for poisoning him or something O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  13. i would recommend against any "smartass" remarks like that. its more likely to single you out for further inspection... [TSA brain] Hmmm, Lets open it and see why it is so important to him...[/TSA brain] O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  14. not really, it for the loss of their loved one who "sacrificed" himself for the palestinian cause. so yes, its a result of the suicide attack and not of israel's reaction. the terrorist's house is not always destroyed, and we're talking about his house, not some distant relative. does his family get hurt? yes. but maybe he should think about it before destroying the lives of others... not that its the issue, but just so you know, there were cases where the family of the suicide bomber tried to stop him and even report him, and their house was not touched. this method may not be pretty but its effective and there is not much you can do against a brain washed fanatic who decides to blow up a bus... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  15. even with your lame definition, yes giving 25K to a mass murderer so he will blow himself up in the middle of a bus , is supporting terrorism. and sadly, most of the world was "supporting" terror when a lot of the money donated to the palestinian authority ended up where it wasnt meant to be O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  16. that sux when i was traveling with my rig, me and my friend had an arguement about whether its better to simply walk through hoping for the best or to approach the TSA ppl in advance, let them know we're carrying a rig and show them the papers. both seemed to work, but i guess its a matter of luck. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  17. yeap, blocked from here too. lucky me, i have no interest whatsoever in going to that site anyway O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  18. a good summary of who he is... Yasser Arafat "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  19. thanks, always nice to be in your thoughts i wouldn't send flowers yet, he was thought to be dead many times in the past. Bill is right, it would be better like this but my fear is that no matter what is the cause, the result will be the same. theories about how israel had poisned him, arguements about where he should be burried (he wants to be burried right next to the temple mount) etc. sadly, it takes a very strong leader to settle and make peace (arafat could have, but didnt) and i dont see anyone who could in the near future. but we'll see... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  20. i can't say i would shed many tears over him but i'm very worried of what may happen if he dies. internally for palestinians where there is no one in charge and for the whole region since no matter what, israel would be somehow blamed... lets hope a more reasonable leader would rise and have the power to lead his people better O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  21. thanks thats exactly what i was looking for O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  22. Hello people... i'm pretty new to digital photography. got my digital rebel a few months ago and so far i've been playing with it. pushing all kinds of buttons and checking what comes out i want to start playing with the other side of digital photography, photoshop... i know there are many books and websites, but i could use a good starting point. i guess a book/site with mini projects that demonstrate popular/useful effects would be a good place... any ideas? thanks O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  23. depends on the destination and its customs laws. the best thing would be to ship it somewhere withing the US and have someone bring it to. from there its simply luck while passing through customs... Ori "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  24. in any case, next time you're on the plane, compare the rate of change to other altis. even if it goes from 0-1200, it still has to do it fast... i do it whenever i drop mine O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
  25. if you insist... i like how the micron and the mirage look when they are closed. the new PdF is also streamlined and has nothing sticking out of it.... if i had to chose based only on that, i'd go with micron, but they take ages these days (if i'm not mistaken) and i think the mirage is overpriced. me? for now i'm very happy with my wings but what do i know O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
