indeed he is, and he's world famous for it ... he jumps near the coast (not the desert) so the humidty is close to the FL one... NashNash, wait until i tell him how you talk about him behind his back, and be careful with those landings or you'll miss next year's trip to sweden... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

Who should the U.S. REALLY be worried about?
falxori replied to akarunway's topic in Speakers Corner
if you look back on how the world usually handles, i would say that if they declare that they are done now, its already been done for awhile or they have a reason to say its done long before it actually is. nothing is what it seems to be. nothing . O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero." -
thats ok, i've brought a "backup" friend from S.F and he doesnt drink beer so it also saved me some money... although i lost in BJ and he won, so i guess it didnt save me anything O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

well, he did answer my PMs and he did accept my beer offer, but when i got there (from the other side of the planet...) he was nowhere to be seen... maybe next time i'll talk to JTVal2 too... and blue man rocks. the star trek ride in the hilton was nice (i was forced to go...). don't go near the 3D ride in the venician mall (i think it was there) , its a piece of shit that just rocks you for 30 minutes... other than that, its all been said already... and BJ , dont forget BJ. go to the one near the circus circus where you can gamble for less ($1-3 instead of minimum 5-10). damn, i want to go back there... I taking advantage of the fact that people here come in all shapes sizes and origins and asking for some help... for my masters project, i need to analyze a need, find solutions and create a product that will meet the needs. i need a need, a requirement, something that does not have a good solution yet. it can be any little thing that you encounter every day. so, what do you hate doing the way it is done now? of what can you say " i wish there was another way to do it" ? and no, an automatic packing machine is not an option... thanks O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

i can recommend the view there too. the red mountains of jordan and Eilat, together with the desert in the distance and the red sea... you can also come visit us in israel. two DZs only a few hours away... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

i dont know about the price, but as for "being at the level to jump it", i'm pretty sure you can order a 170 and get the same price. and the new atoms are pretty cool. the only downside i know of is spare parts being a bit more expensive. O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

its too soon to tell who is behind it and maybe we'll never know for sure. its not the first time these things have "crossed the border" (embassy in argentina, hotel and plane in kenya, and more ) and hamas hezbollah and others do cross the borders. but it can be (and even likely) AQ, they've been trying top get a piece of the action here too. this area is far from any major city in egypt and currently there are only israeli forces there (it took a lot of time to clear the paperwork and firefighters were sent back to get their passprots... ) will egypt get involved? in what? hopefully they'll do more to stop the endless shipments of arms crossing the borders. a series of blasts tonight in the sinai desert by the red sea (egypt) in resorts mostly used by israelies (especially now, since its a holiday here). the body count is rising and israeli emergency forces have entered egypt (after a lot of bureaucracy) to help with the search and rescue efforts (a part of the hotel has collapsed). a lot of the facts are still unknown at this point, but it doesnt look good... o reuters "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

yeah sure, it would have been a lot easier to stop his "misadventure" if he had nukes and was willing to use them... lucky someone had the sense to cripple his nuke plans a few years earlier... O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."

hmmm, yeah ok. my biggest fear is not that Iran will openly attack, almost no one start open wars these days, and you can say a lot of things about Iran, but you can't say they are stupid. i fear the day where a terror group will gain control of a nuke (or even radioactive waste). and pretty much like 9/11, there will not be a "direct" target to go after... they already back up many terrorist groups (freedom fighters as some of you prefer calling them) like hamas and hezballah and most of the weapons in lebanon and the gaza strip arrives from there (along with syria) and Darius, from what i know of you, i'm pretty sure you would prefer a free Iran where you can do whatever you want. but i know you'd prefer seeing it happen naturally and not by force. so would I... nothing new... where do you think a big portion of the donated funds go to? Arafat himself is believed to have 1-3 billion dollars stashed away, that billion, with a B... his wife spends about 100,000 $$ each month living in paris, and many in the "old" leadership took care of themselves in the same way. too bad the donated money doesnt reach the poeple who it was meant for... A Jumper suing a DZ. Should other DZ's ban this jumper?
falxori replied to ypelchat's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
thats a foolish logic. if you dont mean them to ever pay, why bother having insurance at all? right, when you talk about accidents caused by the jumper, not by the DZ "bending the rules" i would say a DZO who saves a few $$ on your safety is selling you out. probably the part "skydiving is risky enough as it is and there is no need to add more risk to it by a poorly maintained aircraft or a JM on drugs." not everything is visible in a DZ and there are many things a DZO can do that compromises your safety without you ever knowing about it.
