Surprise... Wet, and still above water. Many of the drunks were also on hand as the Brits brought their weather with them. Also hope to be a "real" skydiver someday as well.

Here's a pic of the Navy team jumping into the Murph in San Diego. The pilot is ready to release the wings. I think they're called PRO straps (quick release) here on the left coast.

Hi Julie, I can empathize... I tore my ACL and had ligament reconstruction years ago playing, uh, football. That was long before skydiving. I had a goal to play again, and I did. Although skydiving is very different, you still have to overcome many obstacles. If your body is in shape, it would make it easier mentally. I guess it can also work the other way as well. Come on over to Elsinore and I will introduce you to some girls that have overcome their injuries and are skydiving again. You will be inspired once you talk with them and their experiences. One of the girls is already back in 4 way competition and training. She broke her tib/fib in June and made her first jump after her incident in September. Hang in there.

Because I get a kick out of it when I see my former students become great flyers. (Plus, I have horror stories of them that I can pull out if I need beer.) In one word: Fun. (Which is the beginning of FUNnel.)

Yep, missed the gang last time at Perris. My cameo appearance was for a couple of jumps only. Come on over to 'Snore for some R-Dub stuff; lotsa folks hanging and I'll intro you to the LOs, etc. Plenty of "chicks with grips."
