Well, at least ya got to go to work today. I got on jump from the helo yesterday, then started to get a sore throat, probably from the effects of Saturday's Luau. Anyway, woke up today and felt shitty. Looks nice out and I want to jump. And the theraflu stuff sucks, too.

It was a Eurocopter AS350B A-Star. We got 4.9 in a hover, depending on the uppers... Launched a 2 way with grasshopper, his 2nd helo jump of the day. Yep, it was well worth the 40 bones. I jumped a Jet Ranger earlier in the year and that was $45, and we launched a 4 way from 2800 and we were hovering in the base of the clouds.

Don't go all the way up to altitude. Anyway, wearing gloves shouldn't be a problem. Just put the rig on and touch all the handles and get the feel of them. Wear a turtleneck and some sweats under your jumpsuit. If you are going to use the student gear at Elsinore, I suggest you get a balaclava type hood to keep your head warm under the Pro-tec helmet. They also sell these neck gators in Ground Zero, too. And as always, get a gear check from me or one of the other instructors.

Will do. The weather's better now and it looks to be a fun week. We have the 6 Way scrambles this Saturday and the annual "Luau" at the Coyote Grill. Martin Williams and Team Pumpkin will be around for a while. Cheers, Shark
