  1. I just can't help thinking of our friend Wile E. Coyote right now. A true pioneer in many ways, a certified super-genius. But the giant crossbows and catapults just never seemed to work out too well. Matt
  2. Of course that might defeat the original purpose: trying to go to sleep. Matt
  3. Different rules ay different DZs, or so I've been told. I like to buy both beer and mountain dew so all us non-drinkers can enjoy too. Matt
  4. Pics for both methods at once would be great!
  5. And the beige blob rolling around the bottom of the screen, the "namekuji", is like a slug. Water feeds it and salt dissolves it. It doesn't get any smaller as it burns, though. Matt
  6. I adapted that line from one of the Darwin Awards; one of the very few awarded to somebody still living. The idiot stuck a pistol into the waistband of his jeans because he'd seen it done on tv. The gun fired, removing his balls; thus was he taken out of the gene pool and made eligible for the Award. The story concluded "Holsters, men. It's even more important than flossing."
  7. Yeah. I've already wasted several hours experimenting with the different combinations. It's so simple, and so pointless, but I can't stop playing.
  8. You bet--I've got a large glass of ice water!
  9. This is bad news. I didn't start getting old until I hit 30. You may be ahead of schedule. Probably not though. You're just saving up enerhy so you can really hit it tomorrow, right?
  10. I actually don't like looking at those very much. They cover up too much skin. If the lady's got great legs, let us see 'em. Matt
  11. Passing out it is then! Good times! I'm debating showing up at the DZ tomorrow or Sunday for a little while. I need to bring beer for my first jump that resulted in a broken bone. And it would be good to personally thank everybody who helped take care of me. I'm just not sure about scaring away new business by wandering around in my Frankenstein back brace. Matt
  12. I like building structures out of the cera material, letting all the oil particles flow around them, then make a wick out of either the plant or more cera, and burning the whole thing down. Very satisfying. Matt
  13. Another good suggestion! I'm on oxycotin and orphenadrine, which are more than enough to make the world go kinda fuzzy around the edges.

Who pissed in your cheerios? Don't get your tit caught in the wringer. Who stepped on your weenie? Matt
  15. The only time this ever mattered was when she had divorced a viciously abusive asshole and sometimes the emotional baggage made problems between us. She kept on expecting me to be viciously abusive since that's what real men do, right? Then when I refused to beat her, she lost all respect for me. Matt
  16. While it's a matter of public record that I hate cats, and that I've been known to enjoy myself regardless of the critters' fatality rate, I am unfortunately still in too much pain to really enjoy it right now. Good suggestion though.
  17. Very very cool. Hopefully she'll make a habit of this. If I remember correctly, somebody figured out how to BASE jump in a wheelchair. Skydiving should certainly be possible.
  18. So I screwed up a landing last weekend and gave myself a compression fracture of one of my vertebrae. (PLFs are important. Even more important than flossing.) Now I get to spend the next two weeks doing nothing active at all. I can sit in my very comfortable chair and watch movies or play on the internet. I can lie on my bed and read books. That's it. No other viable options. Please, does anybody have any ideas to keep me from losing my mind from inactivity? Matt

  20. She got bit by a mosquito on her freaking eyeball!!?? I think I'll send some vibes anyway. That can't be any fun at all. Matt
  21. mozzie? What dat? Matt
  22. http://chir.ag/stuff/sand/ Just spent a few hours playing around with this game. Or is it a game? No score, no real ending, you just make cool patterns and experiment with the different objects. I like the fire.
