What's the life expectancy of a thread in the Bonfire?
MF42 replied to Slappie's topic in The Bonfire
I need to go add that to my "won't eat" list. Matt -

It just occured to me that the moniker "postwhore" actually isn't appropriate, 'cuz postwhores don't get paid anything. We're postsluts.

You forgot food. Lotsa threads about food recently, making me very hungry. Matt -
Vanilla ice cream first, then slowly pour the cream soda. Yes, there's lots of foam, but that's part of the fun. Edit to add: A&W cream soda is the best. Matt

When that happens, you can try recrystallizing the dilithium by immersing it in an inverted positronic field for a few hours, as long as the dilithium isn't too far gone. YMMV. Matt

Thick slices of sourdough bread. Thin slices of roast beef and turkey, stacked in alternating layers. Thin slices of pepper jack and mild cheddar. Medium slices of roma tomatoes. Moderate amount of lettuce. Little bit of mustard. And none of that fancy spicy mustard or gray poop-on, just good ol' yellow mustard. Little bit of Ranch dressing. I'm something of a sammich purist. Exotic ingredients are all well and good as an occasional novelty, but the true sammich experience is arrived at by means of simple, everyday ingredients, selected for optimum quality and freshness, sliced to the perfect dimensions seconds before assembly in perfect proportion. Sammich is my art. Matt

Currently out of action with a back injury. Only advice I have is don't go insane from the inactivity. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to avoid said insanity; I think it's creeping up on me. Matt

Will eat: spicy peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, brussels sprouts, cooked seafood, buffalo tongue (Try it. It's good!), try just about anything once. Kimchi is delicious. Will not eat: coconut, saurkraut, raw meat, okra, milk (can't digest it), ice cream (can't digest it), hot dogs, popcorn. Love to eat: anything citrus, fresh veggies with ranch dressing, salmon, tex-mex stuff, pasta with tomato-based sauces, buffalo wings (baked! Not fried!), green apples. Matt

I just started and am completely obsessed with skydiving, so have a tendency to talk too much about it. At least, I did before I got hurt. Now random strangers see my nifty backbrace and ask questions about it. I don't want to give the sport a worse public image than it already has, so I lie and say I got hurt in a motorcycle accident.

Did anyone else read the instructions and immediately draw entirely outside of the frame?

Strange...last week the tone mostly blended into the constant ringing I hear anyway, but now I can hear it very clearly. Weird. My head must have changed keys or something. Matt

You're torturing me. My mom's spaghetti sauce is the all-time world champion of comfort foods and I haven't had the opportunity to taste any in about 3 years. I'm very very hungry now. Matt

"Theory is easy, heicopters beat the air into submission!" Actually they're so ugly the earth repels them.

9. The little boat gently drifted across the pond exactly the way a bowling ball wouldn't. Blatant rip-off of Douglas Adams' description of the Vogon constructor fleet. Matt
