  9. something comes to mind , a story i had heard about a guy getting his face peeled off from lines brushing across his face... is that why you don't think it is a good idea? .. or is it the possibility of actually hitting one of them, severly injuring the hit persons as well as the pilot. I was going to download it onto my system the other day, but it required the other gameplay remote. perhaps I will have to buy the game from the store so I can get the wheels too. ... to play each other online, do I need the game as well, or is it like the gameboy advance where only one person needs the actual game? 16. or perhaps, as 'consumers' of this site, HH wants to hear our imput of what we like and don't like? I have not had a chance to check out all of the newness yet, but seems like I am going to like it. I will admit, the ads on the left, scrunching the forums is a bit much, but I'll get used to it. edit: it could be WORSE CLICK HERE! new blog posted 9/21/08 CSA #720

  18. I have THE best idea ever. it involves some pullies and string, but i think you can do it. oh, you will also need a drill or something. Now, what you do, drill a hole in the trunk of your car. put stirng from trunk *i think they call it a bonnet? if you are british* anyways, string from driver area to the trunk, leaving about 3 feet excess. when coming to a stoplight, let the string out, so the pc catches the wind, inflates, goes behind the car. you can pretend you are a really fast race car, and other cars on the road will not know what to think. 23. you'll become more comfortable under the canopy when you fly it more and learn what it is capable of. I always enjoy doing a hop and pop from 12,500 and just learning the canopy charactoristics. up that high, there is less fear of what if this or that happens. I believe the SIM has some good canopy control suggestions to try out and learn. there are all kinds of stuff to do, half brake turns, full breaks, let up, then pull one riser down, full breaks, let up, right back to full breaks. can play with the risers. my personal fear inducing favorite is intentionally collapsing the canopy. on larger canopies, it is harder. with low jump numbers, consult an instructr before doing this, but up high, pull breaks alllll the way down, it may not do anything.. if nothing, you can wrap the brake lines around your hands 3 or 4 times, then pull the breaks down. *look up at the canopy when you do this, so you can see what it does, and what a collapse looks like* you'll most likely see the bail of the canopy come in, meeting in the middle, as you start to drop fast. slowly bring the brakes back up to reinflate the canopy.. you don't want to just drop the brakes. some manouvers can induce line twists, so be ready to kick out. but after learning what your canopy is capable of, and what it takes for it to collapse, your confidence in the gear will be gained.
