for work, I had to go to china lake navy armery to drop off and set up some equipment.... yesterday, was one of the worst days in my life!! 30 miles into the trip, trailer came off the hitch and messed up the jack. luckily was a small trailer and was able to get it back on. drove back to shop, had the jack welded off, and just decided to use a jack stand. back on the road, 4 hours later, arrive on site. went to turn the generater around, and got my truck stuck in the dirt, with the generater attached, and the way it was stuck, there was no getting it out without a tow truck. Finally got it out. Had to deal with upset client, because my supervisers did not tell me everything that I needed. What was going to be round trip day, I asked my employer to provide me a motel for the night. After 7 hours on road, and 8 hours on the job site, i was hot, and dehydrated *did not bring enough water for the day* . Leaving the jobsite, i had to pull over from being sick. I barely made it to the motel room, was too nausious to drink much needed water, and passed out on the floor, after throwing up a bit of the lunch i had eaten 9 hours prior. the last time this happened to me, the first group got out, my group was setting up in the door, TI tells first tells one person in our group not to go, .. while we are trying to figure out what is going on, we are all advised not to go... .. After the otter tried a few attempts to land, and could not, I got the idea. We ended up landing at a nearby airport because the winds picked up so high. ok, so here is the thing. I was going to get an iphone, but things went horrible wrong. It all started with a chain letter bulletin on myspace. it said that if I did not forward to 10 people, my best friend would die, and i would have horrible luck for 5 years. I deleted the bulletin and thought nothing of it; afterall, I just got off the phone with my best friend, and she had just purchased an iphone for a gift for me. On her way to bring me the phone, her car was hit by a 18-wheeler, and she was knocked off the road. luckily, she survived the car overturning, and landing back on it's wheels. As she was getting out of the car, my new iphone in her hand, a meteor fell out of the sky, hitting her straight through the chest. RIP. At her funeral viewing, I was going to get the phone from her family. On the way to the funeral, I got a flat, and was running late. Fixed the flat, and got back on my way. my car then broke it's belt, so i was stranded. This really was seaming like bad luck, but thankfully, a car pulled up, and I was leary, but saw a skydive Elsinore sticker on their bumber. whew! a skidiver. I get in, and accept the ride to the funeral. On the way, I found out dreadfully, that this was a one jump wonder. NOOOOOO. I finally get to the funeral, and my friend's mom is ready to hand me the phone. she trips, and the phone fell right into the coffin! this was not good. I reached in to grab it, tripped at the startling image of my friend in the coffin, fell over, and her body went flying out! The phone flew into the holy water and fried. Talk about bad luck. dead best friend, and no iphone to speak of. that chain letter was right. now, here is the thing, If you don't copy and paste this to at least 10 of your friends, the same thing will happen to you. I had a really good one that I had aquired from disneyland when i worked there... it was one of those weight bags they use for movie sets, sometimes you see them on caltrans signs to weight them down. unfortunately, someone stole it from the dz. I have my suspicians, but no big deal. I mostly see water jugs that have been filled with sand, or even some concrete slabs with rope set in with it as a handel. not exactly your circumstances,but. was on a 3way FS jump. the more experience LO that was on the jump with me, eyes popped open, she started backtracking, i slowly followed, as I was l ooking around to try to see whatever it was she saw. Saw her wave and pull, so, I waved and pulled. we were probably about a grand above normal.
