When my wife had her first ultrasound, they called her back, and said she needs to come in for a second ultrasound, that there was an echogenic focus on the left ventrical of the heart, and 'could be' downs. We went in to the second ultrasound, and they did not see any other indicators that it was DS. Not believing in murder, we opted to skip the amnio test, due to the risks involved. How horrid would it have been to have the amnio cause a miscarriage, only to have the test come back negative. skip forward a few months... Laurens head popped out, and I just saw this flap of skin *i was both coach and delivery help, so was in two places at once* My heart sunk when i saw the skin, thinking it was a huge layer on back of neck... saw the dr. cleaning it, so i leaned in for a closer look, and saw my child's gorgeous face! .. Instant love, and a healthy baby girl. Down syndrom or not, we would have kept the baby, and given her a chance in the world. No everyone can do that though. I just replaced a rotron motor (3 phase 230v 1.75hp)and after 8 hours of operating, the system it is running on shut down. I was troubleshooting, and found that each individual leg was showing 234V *on the entire circuit, not just that motor* Checked my wiring, and it was wired correctly. played with some fuses in the panel, could not find anything out of the ordinary, other than a couple loose wire connections that I fixed. when I checked the motor wiring, I found that the brand new motor burned up on the inside, and is now no good. what could cause the motor to burn up. and why would I get 230 on a single leg, instead of 120? Oh, also, one leg, was showing no voltage, but when I disconnected the motor completely, all legs showed 120v single, and 230 with any two. sorry my description is very confusing. maybe someone can help. you noticed. It was actually just the top shirt in my drawer. by wearing it, I found out that our dr. used to work with some people in the or who jumped at perris and snore years ago, but stopped after a fatality. I am the Father of a wonderful lil girl whos name has yet to be chosen. She was born at 4:45 this morning. She is 6 lbs, 7.7 ounces. and 19 inches long.
