I was replying to what Cashmanimal said, that it's reflected because he has his altimeter on his right hand instead of his left. I wasn't referring to his exit position, just that reflecting the image won't remove the altimeter from his left hand and put it on his right. It looks to me like the hackey is still on the right side of the rig. If reflecting it moved the altimeter wouldn't it move the hackey also? I have also worn my altimeter on my right hand, usually if I know my Neptune battery is getting low, and also for night jumps. Okay, according to Sdctlc it is reflected,my bad . This is my first year doing team jumps, but here's our deal. I get my video jumps free, we get a discount for team jumps. We have a 100 jump minimum for the year, the jumps have to be paid for by the start of the season. We have to compete at three NSL meets. We have to be at the dz every other weekend. We have to manage The New Wave Boogie at the dz. We get to do graduation jumps with students (that's going to be fun). Our fun jumps are at the discounted rate also. We are the SDC Flying Fish. I could see a benefit to the low volume mains if your intention was swooping. You could get a container sized for a 150 on the big side, with a low volume 170 in it to start with, then you could downsize at least twice with the same container, safely. You are looking for Good stuff. The DVD has more Good Stuff on it, longer than the VHS I believe. Another good video is Antigravity, if you can still find it, it was a VHS only. Because the rig manufacturers insist that you keep the main and reserve close to the same size. I don't have a problem with my 168 reserve, I just would rather have something bigger when all hell breaks loose . The same canopy manufacturers that tell you to load their mains at 2:1 minimum, also recommend only loading a reserve at 1:1 right? I'm talking what is ideal, not what is accepted. I've got 4 rides on my Raven 1 at almost 1.5:1. Before the new R-max came out the next size down was the MicroRaven 150, which can't really be safely loaded over 1:1. I had a 150 Stilleto in my old Vector while Bruce was fixing my Nitron. Tod packed a Raven 3 (253 7 cell) in the same container to practice for bridge day, it fit pretty easy. Yes, some people argue that you need to be able to cutaway the helmet before deploying the reserve if your main is caught on your helmet. Others argue that if you cutaway with the main attached to your helmet it will break your neck before you can cutaway the helmet. The Non-RSL riser is supposed to release just before the RSL side does. I doubt you would notice it. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. I wanted to do it for a couple years, after I saw some videos from the guys at work, and watching a couple demo jumps.
