Sorry Stitch you were just at the bottom, I didn't mean to imply that you're a Racer fanatic. Most of the Racer's I've noticed were pull outs, I just wondered if the few BOC's were a mod, or if they came that way. I like the part of packing a Racer reserve where you dig your heel in and dance around the rig three times to make a depression. That may not be just a Racer thing, but it was fun to watch. I've seen that at one of my dz's as well. The dzo had a student Velo (120), rarely did more than a 90, but it gave him bragging rights as to having the only Xbrace on the dz. The S&TA jumped a 99 Xfire2 because it opens nice, he's a little fella so he only loads it at 1.6, he only lands straight in. So which camera fliers are left with Spectre's Norman Kent? In most of the videos that I've seen the opening, the camera guys are jumping Xbraces. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. Well, Sparky, one could argue that Integrity risers were an attempt to make an improvement to safety by trying to solve the porblem of early un-reinforced Type 17 risers tending to break when overloaded. Now whether or not that's a good arguement, that's a different story. I like Bill's statement that he would rather see the riser break than the harness. I got distracted by something else so they last 2 paragraphs took some mental effort to finish, it wasn't anything to do with the story, the story's great. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole. -

I'm glad I haven't even been able to upload videos. I'll probably stop putting pictures on my Facebook as well. What program do you need to put watermarks on? I have Photoshop Elements 5.0, and Paint Shop Pro 8. I'm looking through them to see what I can find but would appreciate some help. I also read in the new policy that even if you delete your stuff they have rights to anything that is archived. I wonder if they did that before they changed the policy. I was reading some Bill Booth stuff about the reversed risers, he said you lose the pulley effect of having the cloth loop go around the small ring. The reversed risers will be much harder to cutaway because of the extra force. The cutaway cable is also more likely to get sucked through the Amp fitting, releasing the riser, or kinking the cable to lock it in place. I had a set of them until my first hard opening damaged them. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. I have jumped a Comp Cobalt 170, so I can guarantee you that 170 Cobalt's exist, I think the regular Cobalt did go up to a 190. If you want to buy one make sure you jump it first, when I say it, I mean the exact canopy you want to buy. With their very poor quality you have no idea what you'll get if you did make the mistake of getting a new one. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. For giggles, just tossed my Voodoo across the room with the pin out, and did the same with both my Talon FX (closed corners) and my Mirage (closed corners). Did you get that on video for us? That'd be great for the Summerfest film fest. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.

I'm glad you clarified. So at the end of the day, we're all in agreement that dynamic corners are NOT any kind of a threat as everyone somehow misunderstood in this and other threads, right? I give up. Someone else want to give it a go? Who breaks up the fights between you Greenies? I have many friends that jump Racers. I know one of them has a rig with the corners cut down, maybe not completely but most of the way, it is a BOC/ pullout. I only have about a dozen jumps on that rig but he has several thousand on it. He's almost went in more times than anyone can count, but not because of the corners of his container, not yet anyway. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. How did you get your (new) rig measurements?
gearless_chris replied to speuci's topic in Gear and Rigging
According to the interview that DSE had with Aerodyne, their elements rigs can be shipped in two weeks. They build the container part ahead of time in certain sizes and color patterns, then all they have to do is build the harness to your measurements. Indiana, but I'm way over in the corner by Ohio, and Michigan. I think I may have ended up on 94 by accident once, missed my turn onto the Indiana toll road coming back from Summerfest. We've probably met if you worked manifest last year, I only missed the first and last days. I'll be there a lot this year. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. The flip horizontal is fun, thanks guys. Here's mine, there's only a couple pictures I have that this would work on though. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.

I see the bottom of the plane is still dirty, I wrote wash me in the crud once, Bo didn't think it was near as funny as I did. That plane is one of the reasons I hate AFF, a long time to sit. Jump it! I like how the rig flexes between the main and reserve. The one I jumped is probably 100 years old (may be exaggerated), and was at least as comfortable as my new Vector 3 with spacer foam. Just don't use the two sided RSL, or freefly with it. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.

The number I have is (423)949-9499. I don't remember if it's George's office or just a general number though. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole. -
The problem is that everything is spelled correctly, so Mozilla doesn't put the little squiggly line under it. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole.

Maybe they're finally updating it. I don't think it has changed in the last 5 years, other than to take the Monarch off the list and add R-max. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. My momma said I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an a$$hole. -

I like having the removable bands that go around my legstraps to attach the wings to. I've seen rigs with rings sewn on to attach the RSL clips to. With the bands you can borrow another rig if necessary. It's probably more important that you find out what the other camera fliers use so you are compatible. All the Tonysuits camera jackets that I've seen with the Fastec clips have the male and female clips on the same sides. "If it wasn't easy stupid people couldn't do it", Duane. I was wrong. The thing I thought was a hackey could be the main pin flap sticking up. I like the little dingleball up by the RSL that looks like it smack you in the face the whole time.
