hey! We are open on weekends and we fly a C182. We are located on Tortuguero, in the town of Vega Baja, about 30min west of San Juan. Try calling again, I dont know why you get no answer. 787-852-5757 Jason should answer. Ill be there the 25 and 26 and we could do some beach jumps. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

Video of what appears to be bad EP's; You decide.
yeyo replied to liftedtitan's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
The only thing I see is that she started to unzip her arm wings DURING deployment, that was what probably caused the line twist. Other that that, good EPs. HISPA #93 DS #419.5 -

I've heard and read NickR recommending wing loads for his wingsuits. Cant seem to find more, but from his facebook: "Pipistrellus is introduced. Recommended wing-loading: 155-185 LBS (pilot's naked weight)" HISPA #93 DS #419.5

Handsome Dave's Course...place to stay anyone?
yeyo replied to ingrid706's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You should contact ingrid706, shes also looking for a place to crash those same days! HISPA #93 DS #419.5 -
I've used a Tri150 @ 1.3 for over 200 WS jumps. After about 700+ total jumps on the canopy, the openings started to get interesting, but all good after a reline. Edit---> I recommend it HISPA #93 DS #419.5

I think you might want to add in the word "intentionally" somewhere, otherwise I can think of a number of funneled skydives that might count. Such as yeyo's offering? That looks like that magical one point in time just before the zoo happems. hahah , maybe you are not understanding whats happening there... Its a 4way belly base, with 4 headdown hangers, and 2 sitflyers hanging from the headdown hangers...so its a 3 level hybrid. And it flew quite well, the only thing missing from the original plan are the stingers. I took the pic, btw. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

Im scared of both And Im not sure if its the correct way of dealing with that, but after that jump on my video I decided not to do "big" ways (10+) without an AAD. That was almost 2yrs ago and I have stuck to it. At least I think Im minimizing the chances of getting taken out. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

I think theres a few cases were collisions cant be avoided On this case, I went a bit low on the formation, so I flew to the side and while I was trying to get back up one flyier caught the burble from the base and while recovering from the burble, she flew by me at a high closing speed. We didnt collide, but it was close and it was gonna hurt. I dont think theres anyone to blame here. People go low, and people fall into burbles. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEClGaLW_qQ HISPA #93 DS #419.5

How did you get into skydiving?
yeyo replied to sparknote_s's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I won a free tandem jump on a radio contest. One of those "Third caller gets a cool price" kinda contest. I had the certificate on my drawer for 11 months and it was about expire in a week. So I went and make the jump, and when we landed I signed up for AFF and next week I was jumping. Thats how I got in to this fun addiction. HISPA #93 DS #419.5 -
cool! Then theres a good chance I can make it there for Saturday. HISPA #93 DS #419.5

Just 2 days ago I was coming downwind from a long spot after a jump with my brother. He flies a Stilleto 120 @ 1.5 and a fly a Triathlon 150 @ 1.33. He was about 200' ahead of me at the same level, he has using rear risers and I was using 1/4 brakes and we were keeping the same distance and level. So use whatever works for you! And to stay on topic...I love my Tri HISPA #93 DS #419.5
