Sure. Sorry. I'll redirect the question to you: are you lazier than Kallend, or do you have more stuff than him? It's either one or the other, no other options. - Dan G
-
You're right, it wasn't you, it was popsjumper. My apologies. - Dan G
-
Whether or not you're angry has nothing to do with it. By your own argument, the only way Kallend has more than you is because he works harder. Why are you so lazy? And why should we listen to your opinions on hard work, when you admittedly don't work as hard as a useless college professor like Kallend? Or is it possble that hard work is not the sole determinant of financial success? - Dan G
-
Maybe if you had worked harder you could. You realize by your own argument you just admitted that you're lazier than Kallend, right? - Dan G

Russian Scientists: ‘We Could Face Cooling Period For 200-250 Years’

Or you could deny that your employment situation could possibly change, or that you could have any influence over the change. And don't forget to call everyone who suggests you try to improve your situation 'liberal alarmists'. - Dan G -
Wikiislam? Nice unbiased site. You're either a truly great troll, or a pretty scary dude. - Dan G

I'll take that as a 'no'. - Dan G

Do you know what that means? - Dan G

PD Forcing Residents From Home During Boston Manhunt
DanG replied to Kennedy's topic in Speakers Corner
You're assuming that only the cops have the ability to search. The perp was identified by non-LEOs, and he was found by non-LEOs. - Dan G -
Everyone Knew that Obama did not have the power to do this.
DanG replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
Apparently they didn't. - Dan G -

Do you have another source you're looking at? The article in the OP said it was a federal judge, so they wouldn't be serving time in a state pen. And AFAIK the feds don't due early parole. - Dan G -
I'm sorry, but that's pathetic. You're admitting that you dredged up an old story to get a bash in because you've got nothing else. Have a problem with Obama's Syria policy? Criticize it. Unemployment? Say something about it. Starting a thread you know is BS is just trolling. - Dan G

I'm not either. I'm just curious about the rest of the story. The linked article is pretty short on details. What charges were dropped? What charges weren't? Did the judge really say that animal torture is protected by the 1st Amendment? Seems unlikely, but straneger things have happened. - Dan G -

The flag is an inanimate object. Not the same thing at all. I'd like to read more, since the judge dismissed only 5 of the 7 counts. If the two remaining counts were for animal cruelty, and the five dismissed were related to speech somehow, then maybe this makes sense. - Dan G -
And now the disturbing thought; surveillance society just vindicated?
DanG replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
I made a typo. I meant "fog of war" environment. I didn't say (or at least didn't mean to say) it was a war. It's a common phrase. I realize I typed it wrong, but I'm the last person who would claim that we're at war with Muslims. I understand that's what happened. It doesn't make it lawful. I said the order was not lawful, not that it didn't happen. - Dan G -

I'm pretty sure the large men with guns would react even worse if you started shooting at them. - Dan G -
And now the disturbing thought; surveillance society just vindicated?
DanG replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
At the moment I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they were operating in a fog of war environment. If it comes to pass that this response becomes the norm for any unusual situation, then I'd be quite concerned. I still think homeowners had the right to refuse police entry. They also had the right to go walking down the street, or drive their cars wherever they wanted. The lockdown was a request, not a lawful order. - Dan G -

Or you could refuse entry, and sue the shit out of them if they came in anyway. If you had money instead of guns, you could take it all the way to the Supremes if you wanted (or lower courts didn't provide relief) and could end up alive and rich instead of dead and dead. We are still a nation of laws, despite what talk radio hosts and the NRA would have you believe. - Dan G
