The flip side of the coin is the people who think the 2nd is untouchable, but the 1st (at least as it applies to non-Christians and lefty newspapers), the 4th (at least as it applies to foreign looking folks), the 5th (at least as it applies to 'enemy combatants'), and the 14th (no qualifications) are disposable. - Dan G

    The answer should be pretty much never. The LEOs seem to like to dress up like soldiers, but enforcing the laws on a nation's citizens should be nothing like how a soldier acts in combat. Totally different missions. - Dan G

    That's a whole different issue than, "The President uses taxpayer money to fly his dog around with a dedicated security team." I've noticed that just about everything out of the Daily Mail does not stand up to even a basic level of scrutiny. - Dan G

    Really good reporting, since later in the same article they show a picture of the dog being led away from AF1 with the caption, "Ready to run: Bo, President Barack Obama's dog arrived with the first family in Martha's Vineyard for the President's vacation" I call BS on the whole story. - Dan G

    There are protected classes with regard to housing. I know race, gender, religion, national origin, and veterans status are protected. There may be others. Gun ownership is not a specifically protected class of person. - Dan G

    It came after the 2008 Presidential election. The Hillary movie will be put out after the 2012 Presidential election, in which she was a candidate. Clinton and Palin are exactly equivalent regarding their declaration of intent towards any future elections. IOW, neither has declared anything. Agree. - Dan G
