About two weeks! I recently spent 10 days in sunny Barcelona, so it's not the lack of sun that's getting to me. It's the antibiotics I'm on. Yeah, I do both everyday...except my body won't let me run right now.....it's in too much pain, and you're not supposed to run with a fever. Being lazy has helped me feel a little better! Well, you said it was from your military experience. You can't apply all of your experiences from there here. Do the moderators consider themselves leaders of dropzone.com? Sure, they are all leaders in certain aspects, but not of dz.com. They do not lead it. They moderate it. Work takes brainpower. Dropzone.com does not. These arguments are fairly simple. This site is not always "fair." Life is not always "fair." Sangiro always looks to improve his site. I'm sure he'll take your suggestion into consideration even though he's heard it before. Seriously, the bantering that goes on in the forums is what makes it so funny. If you delete anything that can possibly be taken as a personal attack, you'll have an overly censored site. I wish it was just a cold!!! (I think it's an allergic reaction to the medication....my fever is back at 101.) I run 3 miles at least every other day, but my body is in way too much pain right now. It hurt doing my mile walk to work this morning. That's part of the reason I'm avoiding going home....I don't want to do the mile walk back to the train station! Thanks for the advice, all. I'm hesitant about doing that because she just switched me from another antibiotic. (I finished all of them, and my swollen lymph node wasn't going away.) I'm gonna try to tough it out through this antibiotic since it's actually getting the swelling down considerably. But, if I still feel like crap, I guess I can call the dentist tomorrow or something. I went to bed really early the past two nights, but I didn't sleep well. I keep tossing and turning (especially last night.) It sucks. I can't sleep well because I'm sick. If any of you wonder why I've been such a post whore lately, it's because I cannot concentrate on work. My eyes burn because I'm so tired, and I keep feeling dizzy (I had a fever last night which was gone by the morning, but I think it's come back.) I have a stomach ache, too, and I keep feeling like I'm going to vomit whenever I eat. I have all of my "pity Val" problems because of the antibiotic I'm on (I think...I've had some of these problems for 5 days or so.) I don't want to call my dentist again with my problems. I'm feeling like utter crap, though. What's the secret to making myself feel better? I've tried oj, but that does nothing. I'm drinking lots of water, but that doesn't seem to help. Caffeine wakes me up for an hr or so; I guess I can try more of that. I don't get much iron; would that make me feel better? I've been taking my vitamins as well. I'm not sick enough to stay home, but I'm miserable sitting at work. (No, not asking for a pity party, I'm just wondering what I can do to boost my immune system and make me feel better.) They're still human. Nobody is perfect. Yes, and deleting anything where someone is just poking fun at someone will result in more of a situation like that happening (although, I do not know of that situation or the moderator that did that.) I've met all that moderate Talk Back. You don't have to personally know the moderators to see that what they delete/leave out there shows good judgment.
