Heck no! I'd much rather know right up front that someone has a few qualities which I would not be able to tolerate while dating them. For example, I cannot stand the "Yes" men here at work. You know the type....they don't think for themselves, they go along with whatever anyone else says, etc. I don't want to date somebody like that, so I would really like to know if that's the type of person they are up front. I just wanted to make it clear to everyone that Sunshine is indeed hitting on me. Last night, she told me how she was going to perform for me...and just me. She said that she moves her pelvis so awesome. If that isn't hitting on me, I don't know what is!!! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm just starting to think dating skydivers isn't so hot either! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yup, but I may not necessarily date someone that I find here!

I'm more likely to be friends and stay friends with someone I don't date. Once it crosses that make out boundary, scary things can (and do) happen. The resume would be used at the "Hey, I think you're cool so far, and I'd like to get to know you on that level." If you have a resume handy, you know if you're ready for that level. If you're not, you have a friend.

You do have a point that people do things just for bragging rights, but I don't think that's what's happening here, though. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Exactly! Nope. I sure don't. Frat guys might put down that they can do a keg stand for 2 minutes as a positive trait. What a person values in themselves and what they would like to change tell a great deal about someone. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

It's not always bragging. Sometimes, people just like to share ways they've helped out, and it gives others ideas on how to help out. For example, if I heard that one of my friends worked at a soup kitched during their lunch hour a block away from where I work, I'd probably go and help out. I'd be glad they shared that info because otherwise, I wouldn't have known about it. So, it's not always bragging...sometimes, people just like to share their experiences. No, in online dating, you're trying to sell yourself. With a dating resume, people who are already interested and want to take you out on dates, you hand each other your resumes before starting anything. The first date would be like a two-way interview if the resume passes. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I also don't think it's anyone's duty to vote. I'd rather people who are uninformed don't vote because they know they're uninformed rather than voting because they "should." There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

No, because the resume is all about the character of a person...which you can't see. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

And your jumpbitch likes when you pack a lot! She likes it better when you sneak in a jump or two, though. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

You probably don't want to smoke around me anyways. Yesterday, I made Phil laugh and spit out his cigarette into the river! Then, on the way back to our office, he told me in the elevator that I have nice boobs and that I need to show them off more! He also asked if I got the stickiness off my shirt. No, I didn't say that at all. However, politicians do what you just said all the time (has anybody here actually invested their social security as they wish as George W. promised 4 yrs ago?) Talking about the possibility of the draft is being done on radio/tv shows. It's no surprise that it's being done anywhere else. Discussing the possibility of it shouldn't be censored. It's much like Planned Parenthood registering voters while telling them that John Ashcroft has a strong stance against abortion, and he may try to make abortions illegal. They're not saying, "Vote for Kerry if you don't want your babies!!!" They're saying, "There's a possibility that your reproductive rights will lessen if you vote for Bush." Okay, this is the part of the day where I usually go and watch Phildog smoke, and we bitch about everyone. Who will smoke and listen to me bitch? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

So, should nobody sit out there trying to register voters then unless they discuss zero political issues? What happens to one group (Rock the Vote) should happen to all. Women's organizations try to register women voters and discuss their reproductive rights. Organic food companies try to register voters and discuss how political leaders can harm the environment. Rock the Vote isn't the only group to do this. Should they all shut down? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I did 11 in one day not packing for myself. I doubt I'll ever do that many in one day again. Anymore, I'm done after 6 or 7 in a day. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Lots of groups do that, though. Whenever anyone tries to get you to register to vote, they have an agenda. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
