Just because you're in college, doesn't mean you can be stupid

And still, you offer your opinions on so many other topics. -

As bad as any other rape story. So you think they are guilty of rape? I have no opinion. Nice. -
I'm considering trading in our two Excursions. Does that count?

40 years? How so? I don't really expect an answer. LOL Rush is a turd. So are Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter. They peddle hostility, playing to the far right. However, this kind of repulsive behavior isn't being done exclusively by right-wingers.

But do you get around by car?

Don't confuse college athletes with college students. Different animals, in general. Not that your average college student is any better than your average college athlete. What's your take on the Duke Lacrosse Rape story? As bad as any other rape story. The 16-25 year old male, whether in college or not, does not have a great record where good judgment is concerned. So you think they are guilty of rape? Are you like the 70+ Duke Professors who publicly condemned the lacrosse team, based on nothing more than PC stereotyping? -
Secret Service Agents Question Teen Over Bush Threat on MySpace
NCclimber replied to Gawain's topic in Speakers Corner
Sigh. No. As I already said, repeatedly, above, the punishment was pulling the kid from school in a way that all of the school administrators, and all of the other students, would know about it. Are you saying that law enforcement, the Treasury Department in this case, should make sure all interviews (and arrests) are convenient and accommodating to all other parties? Otherwise, it's punishment? -

She's lucky they didn't take a rubber hose to her, then ship her off to Gitmo. -

Can you imagine??? Oh, the humanity! -
That'll be the excuse we use when the planet is completely fucked. If only we can get all the third world polluters to co-operate.

Bush family profits from "No Child Left Behind" Act

That's what I thought. -
Tillman died fighting in Afghanistan, not Iraq. When refuting someone's post, it's nice to provide the post you're refuting.

Unless all the major polluters participate, it won't work.

List your main objections to Hillary Clinton

She's a bitch. That's enough. -
This is a tricky one. China and India are two of the fastest growing economies on the planet. Both are on paths to becoming major economic forces. Environmental issues that might impact economic progress are not really up for discussion. Even if the US took measures to dramatically cut back on our "use" of the planet, the overall benefit would be negligible without co-operation from China and India. Instead, it would just hurt us economically.

Bush family profits from "No Child Left Behind" Act
NCclimber replied to Andy9o8's topic in Speakers Corner
And Bush: Lied about providing AIDS funding (He slashed funds before the ink dried on the bill). Failed to catch Bin Laden (He brushed it off to start an illegal war in Iraq). Started a war under false pretense. Failed the environment. Destroyed medicare. Allowed N.Korea to advance their nuclear ambition. Allowed Iran to advance their nuclear ambition. Against and halted much of the stem cell research on religious grounds. Virtually no foreign policy. Huge deficit, $230billion surplus to a $500billion+ deficit. Destroyed any good reputation the U.S. had. Failed in Afghanistan, the Taliban is back and heroin production is at an all time high. Cut taxes three times that placed more burden on the poor while reducing any burden on the rich. Gave no-bid contracts to corporations connected to his administration. Caused an all time boom in terrorist recruitment. And this is only a small list of his failure as a "leader". Near any corporation would had shitcan this fuckup of a president a long time ago. Given the failures of the worst president in history, I'd much rather of a president who got a hummer than one who has caused so much debt, suffering and destruction any day. Just to show you are objective and not some foaming at the mouth, all or nothing zealot... how about posting four beneficial things that Bush is responsible for. Come on. I know you can do it. -
Hope it's not too late. How'd that effort in France (giving employers the right to fire people) turn out?

Didn't you know that aliens are just as entitled as citizens to take advantage of what your country has to offer. As least that's what many think in this country. It's our brave new world. Or is it a kinder gentler nation? Get with the program, dooooooood!

I'm amazed so many people have insider knowledge about this administration's nefarious, sinister (yet to be stated) objectives. Did you know the 9/11 attacks were an inside job, orchestrated by none other than Vice President Cheney and that the World Trade Towers were imploded? Alex Jones says so. He knows. Also, Bill Clinton had 56 people murdered. JFK was assassinated by the mob.. Or was it Castro?... The CIA? Well, it was one of them. And FDR had foreknowledge of the attacks on Pearl Harbor, but let them happen to generate public support for his intentions to join WWII. And Thomas Jefferson was a rapist and an adulterer.

Secret Service Agents Question Teen Over Bush Threat on MySpace
NCclimber replied to Gawain's topic in Speakers Corner
Apparently, some in the media feel it's still newsworthy. I saw a segment on it, this morning. -
Some people just look for ways to miss the point. Straying off topic, the father of a friend had a psych profile, while he was in the army. This was back in the 50s, when people tended not to think outside the box. The psychologist said "you're on an island and an enemy battleship is approaching. What do you do?" Tony: "Sink it with my sub". Shrink: "Where'd you get your sub?" Tony: "Where'd you get your battleship?"

Some people are willing to answer tough questions, even when they don't like the answer. They're also strong enough to admit when they are wrong. Others, who frequently have an inflexible ideology, are incapable of such honesty. Instead, they'll skirt around an issue, using a host of diversionary tactics, thinking this strengthens their cause. Many consider these people intellectually dishonest... weak... cowardly... craven. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone on this forum. I'm just saying...

Those ^^^ two questions. I put them in bold for you. The school board typically hires the superintendant to run the school system!!! And getting back to another unanswered question:
