    I'll take your word for it. I don't listen to Randi Rhodes. I don't know who John Elliot is. And while it's sad that she busted her teeth, I don't really care to follow the story. Is this going to be blown into something that it isn't? Funny how you're so disinterested in this situtation, yet you're all about the pushing the lies being directed at Rush Limbaugh. It's not the principle, eh?

Telling aides to lie about their removal of documents from Foster's office Obstructing justice by keeping her billing records, a document sought under subpoena, in the White House residence. Lying to investigators about her knowledge about billing records. Lying to investigators about her involvement in the Castle Grande land flip con. Ordering the use of the FBI to discredit Travel Office employees. Lying to investigators about her involvement in the firing of Travel Office Employees. This is just another speed bump of corruption she'll just glide over.

    Here. Let me offer some counter-examples. Some liberals believe we should be able to euthanize babies up to a month after they are born. Some liberals think all drugs should be legalized. Some liberals think there is nothing inappropriate about sexual relations between grown men and minors. Of course, these beliefs only apply to a very percentage of liberals... kind of like that dumbass post (quoted above) only applies to a very small portion of Republicans.

    Now pay attention and go back and read the transcript carefully. How about you provide a link instead just claiming you got it right. This is funny. So many of you want to believe this "gotcha" incident so badly that you can't see it's nothing more than hyped up bullshit. Kind of like Al Gore being a complete hypocrite. I can get someone saying - "Yeah, he's a bit of a hypocrite. So what? His overall impact far outweigh his personal excesses. I can live with it." But no. You guys steadfastly act like there's no hypocrisy. It seems you a little to wrapped up in your ideology to admit your hero's failings. Back when the whole Clinton/Monica scandal broke, my mom (who is quite liberal) said "I'm pretty disgusted by all this, but I still support him because he still has so many positives". Too bad so many lefties around here seem incapable of that kind of honesty.

Phil I was wondering which transcript you read because the one I read clarified what was meant by "fake soldiers" a few minutes after the initial "offensive" remark was made. In other words, you seem to be mistaken.

    The big difference is Al Gore is promoting a principle, one that he wants everyone on the planet to embrace, whereas those "wasteful" guys are just promoting a product.
