I dont get to watch much TV but the Stars & Stripes mentioned it being ill or confused. They figure this from the fact that it is the farthest a whale has gone up that river, and due to the fact that is was swimming up stream. Did anyone else hear this, or is it just an idea they threw out? Maybe this is why me and my friends back in Florida love the rain. After a while, you just dont let it bother you and you go out and play anyway! My parents learned very soon after all 3 of their kids were old enough to think for ourselves, that that one simple rule, is completely out of the question. The only one who is turning out slightly normal is my younger sister. She is about to graduate High School in May and while getting her High School Diploma, she will also be recieveing her AA degree. She is insanely book smart, but is lacking a little in common sence compared to me and my older sister. My older sister did the drugs, I do the "crazy ass shit" as my family put is so nicely. Her and I both prefer to fly by the seat of our pants than to plan something out in great detail. It makes life more fun that way! See for me, that whole "Susy Home-maker" is just boring. I would get fed up with that too quickly. I need someone who can have an intelligent conversation with me, and is willing to get rough from time to time. Gotta love the out doors, and at least attempt to be able to keep up. I tend to be more attracted to the sporty girls who dont really care about make up, or spending an hour in the bathroom trying to look their absolute best, because from what I have learned, they tend to be able to live up to what I need more often then the preppy girls. Trust me, we have our share of dirt too. As far as the eye can see, once you get past the perimeter. The rocks are just to hold down all the dust from all the rotary wing aircraft we have constantly flying and all the damn wind that never seems to stop! I have many bosses, male and female. I get a long pretty well with some of them, while others just seem to be looking to find anything wrong with me so they can correct me. I dont mind, I have worked with them for a year and a half, and I have gotten pretty accustomed to their ways. I have gotten very good at walking on loose rocks. That is about all we have covering the majority of the base here. We had quite a few twisted ankles when we first got out here from people trying their best to negoitate the larger of the rocks. Its annoying because for the first month or two I couldnt run if I needed to get somewhere quickly because I would trip and fall. Congrats! I have spend 9 months in Afghanistan, and just got word we should be back in Germany by late Feb. Then I get block leave for all of March! Its going to be awesome!
