The best I have ever done on a PT test is a 12:48 2-mile. Which would leave me at about a 6:24 1 mile. Sadly, lately I have been barely passing with a 15:48 (7:54 1 mile). Wow, I really need to get back in shape! Well, I am here, and I will be picking up my cell phone tomorrow (pay day). I am out at 20th right now. I cant wait to get back up. Plus, I have been talking to some of the guys around here, and a couple of them are wanting to get into the sport too. They are talking to MWR about it. Is there anything better I can tell them? I am now looking at the plane that will take me on my first leg of a flight that will be returning me to the states. I was told I was going to Fort Drum, but about 2 weeks ago my orders were cut and I am now on my way to Fort Campbell, KY. All I can say is... HELL YEAH!!!! I will be living merely a ten hour drive from home! Quick note for you... If you go thru Manas AFB, Kyrgyzstan on your way back, you are allowed to have 2 beers a night. GET THE NUMBER 9! Oh it could probably get much worse. You should have seen the last 4th I was home for. We cleaned out Sam's! Then while we were out messin around, we almost hit a family across the pond who came out to watch with a giant sparkling bottle rocket... then some guys down the street decided to battle us. So we had fireworks going off from dusk til dawn! It was AWESOME! Damn I miss home!
