The winner of the Cup will be the team with the hottest goalie. Both guys played great in their last games. This will be fun to watch. The Bruins need some better movement on their power play. I think Luongo has the most pressure on him out of both rosters. Popcorn, check. Diet Coke, check Recliner, check Pizza delivery on sped dial, check

No one could run 'em like Ollie North.

1980, Cessna over an Ohio cornfield, scared to death. Did a bunch of jumps and then stopped, major gear fear. 1990, AFF in Taft, CA. It's been all downhill since then. At least 50 jumps a year since. Some people have 1,000 jumps, some have 1 jump a thousand times.

I hope you guys had a great trip!

Ask someone at your DZ that's been jumping at least 17 years. They will fill you in.

I just think the Who, the Stones and Queen were 100 times better.

yeah, but just think of the tabloid headlines when we got caught in the palace.

Most Americans don't know anything about the USA, why do you think they think about the UK? Get a map and have 100 Americans point to England, Scotland or Wales. Now ask them where Ireland is. Good luck. I think it rains way too much there. I think Kate Beckinsale is hot. I think the food is OK, but those pub laws??? Do they still close at 11pm on Fridays nights? I think Tony made a big mistake following GWB into Iraq. I always wanted to bang Lady Di. I enjoyed the London Eye. I like the Lake District. I think the London Tube is a freak show most days. highly entertaining. I think the Beatles were and still are over rated. Freddy Mercury was the best entertainer of his generation. I hate the steering wheel thing, I'm always getting in on the driver's side by accident. I think Cricket is the dumbest sport I have ever seen. Just one Yanks take on it all.

Half right, as usual. Who knew Sid and Geno would go down.

That was one crazy final goal to send the Sharks golfing. Luongo finally silenced the sceptics. This will be the end of the Sharks run for years to come. Some of the guys are going to be sent packing. Now, how about that Bruins/Bolts series!

There have been many Caravan engine failures. Tropic Air flies a fleet of 208s in Belize. They pile up the hours, with a lot of start ups and shut downs during 15-20 minute legs. They had a failure of a brand new engine, with about 120 hours and they had an older engine fail. Google "Caravan engine failures". a lot of info worldwide comes up about failures. Some think the turbine blades are being damaged too often with "blade creep", corrosion. Pratt is working with a company in Nevada, Metalast Inc., to improve the corrosion resistance on their turbines. Most operators under 135,121 do the Pratt engine replacement program now on the Caravans. Most Caravans are flown in pretty harsh environments around the globe. What do you think is causing the break downs?

geez, if Don has that many, George Foreman must have 128,000 jumps by now.

Do you need a "big name" for a basic skills canopy course?
grimmie replied to NWFlyer's topic in Safety and Training
There are "Big Names" and there are "Good Names". Sometimes as we progress we forget that the school of hard knocks was our teacher back in the day, so to speak. I think older jumpers learned a real common sense approach to canopy skills, and jumping overall. Most progressed with the canopies. ALL DZ's have jumpers that have a lot to teach. A lot. Sometimes those jumpers just come packaged in grey hair and flying a 170 instead of spiked hair and a 98. -
Half Dome in Yosemite has been skydived, then BASE'd. Pretty ballsy I think.

That save sealed the win. Amazing.

Ouch. 4 missing teeth, 18 stiches, 3 seperated shoulders, two creaky knees and one really damaged liver from the "after game debriefs" in the locker rooms. I still think we need to do a hockey boogie. A day of jumping and then a pick up game after. There are a LOT of jumping hockey players. Heal up and get back out there! ps...you really broke your leg stomping it on the ground watching your Sharks play. Didn't you!

Another fun game to watch this afternoon. Is it just me or is the game being played more wide open inthis year's playoffs?

Nothing like a bunch of jumpers scared shitless landing in a Skyvan with the pilot hatch wide open by accident. Nothing like an Otter full of jumpers landing with one spinning thing not spinning. Nothing like landing in an Otter full of jumpers because of an accident in the LZ and the ambulance and firetrucks took up the room.

I have a theory on terrorism and terrorists, such as Hamas. All of the terror groups around the world get some type of funding to fight the good fight for the cause. It doesn't matter if it is in Belfast, the West Bank, Iraq, Afghanistan, America, Timor, etc. Mayhem equals big dollars and no real job. I think a lot of these groups keep fighting to keep the money flowing. Sure, they fight for their "ideals", but when justice of some type can be theirs, they always seem to keep the carnage going. Thus making "Peace Accords" impossible. War is big business. Even for the little guys. And now off on a different tangent. Erik Prince is starting his own UAE private army. Where is this going to lead? I suppose that's an entire new thread. Come on Nerdgirl. Get back in here! We need ya!

Well I hope all of this rapture stuff takes place after the Preakness Stakes. I have a big pick four bet on. Couldn't this happen after the NHL playoffs, so disrupting. I suppose the Sharks are hoping 2 of the 144,000 are the Sedin sisters.
-
The Shark players will take a penalty each shift now, just to get into the penalty box.
-
I hear crickets chirping....hey Sharkies, now what? That was a poorly played game by the Sharks, with some bush league tactics. Not one Shark put a good hit on a Canuck all evening. The Sedin sisters had their way in the offensive zone. I hope the boys bought Niemi breakfast, it should have been 12-3. Ya think Eager has a slash coming from Luongo?

Nice...you're just one President too late. Flame away boys.

Torture did NOT lead to finding Osama bin Laden

Santorum doesn't like McCain. But this was over the top of anything out of a politician's pie hole I have heard in a long time.
