    Everyone in America has a gun, so why can't we cut the military by a third. Put those laid off men and women at the airports in place of TSA. Send those bums back to tthe drive thru wimdows. Seriously, no one in DC wants to curb any real spending on either side. We now have a deadline government. Congress needs to hire a real busineesman to come in and do the dirtywork. A non partisan hack job on the budget, and stick to it. The dems and repubs don't want to do it.

    We have a pretty close to perfect DZ going. Great weather, a mile from the beach, beach jumps once in a while, a rocketship jump plane we send with six minimum, great food and lodging, $20 weekends, A-star heli jumps, $20 lunch jumps on Thursday and Fridays and world class organizers. And a 20 pax shuttle van to pick you and your friends up at the airport and get you to the DZ...free.

    In over 100 shootings I have been on, i saw one guy defend himself with a handgun. Both he and the bad guys were riddled with bullet holes. One bad guy accidently shot the other bad guy in the battle.

    I spent 31 years riding fire trucks. We had bullet proof vests under our seats just in case. We always hoped the police would roll with us into the rough areas. We were shot at on numerous occasions. I have seen over 100 people shot in that time. Gun violence in America is out of hand. Carry on...

    Most DZ's are out in the middle of huge flat areas. If you have to bail out it's not an issue, your alti is correct. However in some DZ's you will be climbing out over some pretty tall hills and large mountains. Nothing like getting an order to bail at 2000 while you're over a 1600 ft mountain. It's always wise to look out the window once in a while during the climb. At some DZ's it includes being over water, populated areas or other landing hazards.

    And the minute Obama pulls out of Afghanistan and Iraq he's labeled a cut and run, soft on defense, the Muslims are winning type of guy by the right. War is hell, how do you want it served? After 9-11 no one gave a shit about all of the innocent people murdered in Iraq during the invasion and occupation. Now all of a sudden everyone is up in arms over drone attacks. And for the record, I was against going to Afghanistan, Iraq and hate our use of drones. And yes, GWB started all of this nonsense, no blame, just fact.

    This is the final week to sign up for the beach jump. The booze cruise is sold out. The helicopter jumps are filling up quickly and you need to pre-purchase your jump tickets for the $20 rate.
