    Hmmm...........I'm not following this reasoning. How does someone doing a BASE jump off a crane have ANYTHING to do with whether or not an airport should be open? Is there something to BASE jump out at the airport? The current Mayor of Chicago is using a national security rationale for keeping (IIRC) a TFR over the area in question, which includes both Meigs and the crane jumped. Lawlessness like this serves only to bolster his case. It's all aviation-related in the whuffo media. Best not to fuck about. Insomnia sucks. Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.
