3:10:2 3, hours of sleep I had after coming home (4:00 AM) from the DZ and heading of to work again at Made 10 jumps, also did 'a' nightjump (and the second one ever after that:) and also my first (can't avoid using the word twice) 3-way freefly jump, and did 2 4-way RW jumps (second and third one for me:), and a couple of freefly solo's and I'm realy starting to get the hang of landing in the peas. At my home DZ everybody learns to pack from jump #1. There are packing-instructors (I'll be one in a few weeks:) who help students with their first few packjobs, and do checks (there are 5 built in checks in each packjob). That way everyone knows how to pack well (and pretty quick) by the time they reach their A licence. First few packjobs took about 1,5 hours..it takes me about 10/15 minutes now. Our dz just doesn't have packers, so you HAVE to learn if you want to jump :) We had a guest coming in, he had 900 jumps and had never packed his own chute...:) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Dying a hart-attack at 90 years of age due to some 19 year old bimbo sounds cool :) Although dying during a skydive sounds cool, it will probably result in people saying you f*cked up, unless you do it this way: About 20 years ago we had a guy at our home DZ who suffered a heart attach directly after exit, poeple saw him go limp and tried to reach him, but he went too low. His FXC fired and he came down under his reserve. By the time people got to him he had been lying in the field for about 5 minutes, after being under his chute for about half a minute and over a minute of freefall. They tried to revive him, but no succes...he died 'in the harnass' Sounds like a good way to go JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

I've been to the airpower arena a couple of times too, but aside from trying to stay above the fan, there ain't a whole lot more you can do besides some turns. I does help people who have heading-problems...if you can stay in one place in that thing..you can sure stay in one place/heading while in freefall..:) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Try going to your local swimmingpool and practice exits from the waterside (30 cm above the water of or even at water level..don't do it from a dive-board or too high up..it hurts:) Your body will automaticly want to reach out to the water to 'break' your fall. Instead of doing this, try to do a DRP and hit the water in a good arch. it will sorta train you to do a dummy without reacting on your bodies instincts JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Way of topic... but 11-15 years old 'nowadays' (I sound like an old fart) are doing way more then I was doing at that age. There was a (dutch) research recently on youngsters and sex. While I was a late bloomer at 21 years, these kids are doing things at 13 YEARS!!! that I wouldn't even dare to think of even now......I was still playing with my damn lego at that age (ooh...wait...I still do sometimes). Instead of building a treehouse or catching frogs, playing hide and seek or other stuff I used to do, a lot of young kids between 13 to 16 years old just 'get to together and fuck' as one of the interviewed kids sayd in a newspaper article.. They paper did a couple of interviews (next to the official reseach, done by interviewing a couple of hundred kids) and when asked what they did, a 14 year old boy just responded casualy "you know...playing with each other, a blow job...eating pussy" like he was ordering a happy meal at McD!? Is it just me that's a bit startled by all this... Also has me wondering if these kids (at later age) can see sex as an emotional connection between two people.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
