  1. For Chirst's sake. Your not even married and your letting your woman run your life. 37 jumps in one year is hardly considered a sport. In this sport, uncurrency can be very dangerous. If you plan on marrying someone that give's you so much shit, then you should deal with this delicately, as you will be putting up with her shit for the rest of your life. If you don't plan on marrying her.......why the fuck would you put up with her shit? Dump her ass and be single for a while, get several hundred jumps and find someone that lets you be you. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  2. Heh, Carolina was able to make a TD on a punt return. Shitty short punt. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  3. Oh my GOD!!!!!!!! How did they get this far? Carolina has absolutely no offence or defense. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  4. 2 interceptioons later.....TD Seattle again! 2nd qtr had hardly begun. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  5. I have a way around all of these problems. PM me if you are interested. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  6. Neither. Kurupee is total crap. You could get a better suit by buying a mechanics overalls and putting velcro on the cuffs. Tony is a good suit. No complaints. Ouragan suits are made better than any and every suit out there. In most every case, you will what you pay for. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  7. Seattle. 2nd possession. BOOM! TD after a sick ass catch with double coverage. Carolina doesn't have a chance... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  8. If your just foolin around......you can use scissors......but if you really want to make a project into something you can use...get a cutting iron. Items: S7580A S7583C S7600H www.paragear.com Then again, you could just get a old, high wattage soldering iron, and shape the tip to an edge and use that. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  9. Aweeee...shit...and I thought you had somethin good... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  10. What small things are you referring to? The one thing that was wierd was getting used to the really short outboard lines with 2 attachment point. Especially the D lines. Its damn near impossible to keep those flaked it seems. It also seems that there are a shitload stabilizer lines, more than my Xfire at least. The pack job is defintely different than the Xfire or any other canopy I've packed. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  11. Sometimes it takes a little reality to find it........Makes most of life's complaints and hassles seem pretty worthless. Some people say "Its not my problem", well, its everyones problem across the world, the only difference is, you have to choose to see it. http://www.worldonfire.ca/ ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  12. Hey Stu, Yeah, I would and plan on competing, regardless of prize money (as I dont plan on seeing it anyways) I'm surprised to see that many say no, as the CPC really isn't for guys trying to make a buck. Like there is anything in skydiving that can make you a buck in the first place. At best, you make some beer (bong money for you Chachi) money. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  13. Hey KJ126. Yeah its a fun canopy, and definitely deserves respect. I had a Safire for a short while. Nothing like what you have now. You have more #'s than me, but unless you have elliptical experience, watch yourself under this canopy. Its damn near as aggresive as a Velo as I have been told by the Velo pilots themselves. (never flown one) Be safe. later.
  14. Hey Dploi, I had a wingsuit for a while, but sold it. It was fun, but enought for me to keep it when I could spend the $$ elsewhere. I jumped a xfire with it and didn't care that much for the openings. It was too much liability for me, but then again, I was a newbie WS flyer. I bought this canopy specifically for competition. I will be paying much more attention to my packing and body position, as the Xfire was shoved in most of the time and body position wasn't such a concern as the Katana is. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  15. Yeah, what he said....your a woman. You lack a very important part of your genetic makeup that would make you normal........ a Y chromosome. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  16. I guess what I should have written out, instead of saying flying the openings is giving input at the very end. The canopy seems like it wants to go to one side or the other, and by input, I mean harness or rear riser to counter. Now about the lying limp in the harness, yes.....that is what I do as well. I just dont type as good as I think. I understand countering every sideways action of the inflating canopy is a bad idea, usually resuling in an exaggerated opposite turn. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  17. Lou, Hey, wassup dude. So, a Katana and a wingsuit huh? Pretty darn agressive. You have a good amount of experience, but I cant help but notice that you are only human. Other than your packing technique (which I will be hittin you up for next time I'm down there), your telling me that you use no harness or riser input at all to fly the opening? Of course I dont know what size your flying, it lighter loaded it could be more manageable, but then again, I know you and its probably not a student canopy size. What's your secret. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  18. Awesome....works great and looks good. Thanks freak! ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  19. Hey Thunerbow, I had a light smell when I got my used canopy just last week. I put 2 jumps on it yesterday, 1 at 7k and 1 at 4k. Smell is gone. Your smell might be stronger than mine, but it works... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  20. Hey Matty, You've been given all the good info. If you are needed them to check for stolen gear, there is a part of the site here that has that info. Good reference: http://dropzone.com/stolen/ Later. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  21. So, I have a new Powerbook 17". I have downloaded the Mac versions of WMV, Real Player and all the current versions of Quicktime Pro. I cannot seem to get a MP4 to play correctly. I get sound, but no video. NE1 got any info? Spank you. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  22. Dude, never go out cocked and loaded with a chick you plan on having sex with. You gotta release the Marines before hand...... Hah...pun inteneded. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  23. Holy geeze, mother of pearl. This thing goes and goes and goes and goes. 107 loaded at 1.67, this canopy absoulutely is amazing. Clear and pull at 7k. Really low stall point on toggles, just like my Xfire. Snappy as hell turns, almost too fast.....can go around you if you aren't paying attention. Excellent rear riser turns, very fast as well. Comes out of a dive for an emergency flat turn quite well (abort technique). Openings start out just like the Xfire, but end up with needing a whole lot more attention than the Xfire. It is nice and straight to start with, some hunting at almost full inflation and a poppy ending that results in a either direction of heading......not much more than 90 degrees. It your not looking and ready to harness or rear to counter, I can see this baby going around you in short order. Overall, a respectable opening canopy for the performance that it offers. (always seems to be a tradeoff huh...) But the thing that really gets me going is the incredible front riser performance. After 2 360's on the right front, I was surpirsed at how low the pressure was...so I brought down the left riser while still in a dive. Holy crap! Both risers fully down with little effort and I am in a totally vertical dive. Let up on the right and rotate the other direction for another 360. I shit you not, this thing is like being in freefall, burning thru both the breakoff and dump altitude dytters. I just lost 3 grand in what seemed like seconds. This thing is going to take some serious respect to get out of it what it has to offer. Wow. This summer is looking even better.... ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  24. And it also looks as though you've taken the time to included yourself as one that complains and bitches too? Ed Quote There is a difference between a complaint and the truth. ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
  25. Hey masterrig, I have the same question as one of the other guys. Will Frebreeze cause any harm to a canopy or container? ------------------------------ Controlled and Deliberate.....
