  2. What's that supposed to mean, do you have a commitment problem or something??? Just get your ass to the Farm and don't hide in the shadows wearing a Burger King mask!!! And hey, I had an idea...we could do RB initiations if people are interested. I know of a few people who made the jump a couple weeks ago and just need the ceremony... I do have commitment problems!! I dropped my rig off with mike yesterday so no repack problems. I'll leave the BK mask at home, this time. And I might be up for an RB initiation if you're going to initiate me. yes i do crack myself up. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  3. you're pretty tiny, you might just fit that was too easy Skymama's #2 stalker -
  4. yeah that is the smallest c-17 I've ever seen. Or some really big rocks on the runway. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  5. that is considered an exotic pet and every state makes you have a license for one. you can't even get one without a license. Well legally anyways. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  6. whoa wait a second, so Tanya and Laura and most likely me will be at the Farm all at once???? The planets must be aligned right or something. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  7. I don't think you are much behind me. I'm sure you could beat me on the swim. I probably could have swam faster, but I was saving my energy and just pacing myself. The event takes pics and so they have to get all that organized before I can see. I had friends there but they were all competing. And ummm well I have two more sprint triathlons to do and that is probably it for me and triathlons. It's a lot of work, a lot of training and I enjoyed it. There is one other tri I might do, but it just depends. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  8. ummm see the part about drowning Actually the river was not bad, clearest swim i've had yet as I could see at least 10 feet down and around. My roommate swallowed some of the water and he thinks it is what made him puke during his bike. I think they have been trying to clean it up. and thanks!!! Skymama's #2 stalker -
  9. thanks to you and mic up there. To tell you the truth the spectators are part of the race as well. This one had a ton and when they give you words like you're doing great and way to go you tend to push harder and do better. So by all means go spectate!!!! Skymama's #2 stalker -
  10. for real.. dontcha just wish someone would offer.. i know i do, instead i gotta shell out 100+ bucks how did your race go, i didnt see your results.. you prolly kicked butt
  11. I saw no graph paper, and no complicated math. It was however pretty cool. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  12. massage??? what is that For real I can't afford them. Maybe a fellow skydiver I know can hook me up, ohhhh Paulina?????? I actually don't feel too bad today either. You'll probably feel awesome after your massage. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  13. thanks pixie and scott!!!! I forgot to add that I was 37th out of over 80 in my age group, probably more but it was crowded around the results and that is all I could see. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  14. You rock!!! Now the big question is do you think you could almost double the bike and run and do a half ironman???? I wonder how you feel today??? Skymama's #2 stalker -
  15. Holy bejesus!!! I'm with Kel when she says what a jump from sprints. I have to say it was the best race i've done to date. Put together well, scenery could not be beat, and the temp for mid july in chattanooga was as good as it could be. I finished in 2 hours 47 minutes. I know I did the mile swim, it was 1500m but my weaving made it a mile easy, in just under 30 minutes. I only almost drowned once I know i averaged 19.3 mph on the bike which I must say was my strong point for this race. I actually found myself digging in more than once and smoking by some people. The first 3 miles of the run were ok, but after that it was definitely a mind game and the finish could not come fast enough. I have not been this sore from a tri yet. My left knee, behind it and on the side hurts. I don't know if I strained something or if it's just sore. i don't know if i'll get pictures, but if I do I'll post them. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  16. I used to use it for running and biking and sometimes stuff in the gym. Now I never use it as it's not part of my exercise goals. I believe it works in the water as well, just never done that with mine. I see people at the pool wearing theirs all the time. Polar used to be the standard one to get, but now there are other, like nike and garmin, and so it's all about what you want it to do. It used to be Polar was bad with the interference, but that was years ago and so maybe they fixed that problem. I am pretty sure I didn't pay more than $150 for mine. I use the watch part of it alllllllllllllllllll the time. Works like a champ. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  17. I have a nike that I really have never had any issues with unless the battery was low. You don't notice the band much. it won't rub or anything if you are worried about that. Power lines most times interfere with any heart rate monitor, as do some places that have large underground wires close to surface. My opinion on iterference is as long as it's not for a long period of time who cares. I'm usually not changing my heart rate much so I know about where it is most times. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  18. How many planes do you need? Hey Hans.. bend over so Simplyputsi can look up your arsehole and pull another plane out! heheh.. sorry I'm in a "mood" today.. need a hop n pop or something. Damnit I was just wondering if the caravan was still flying. King air is more than capable or handling things. So it was just an inquiry. I think hans thought I was asking if trey was going to be there. I fully understand he will not. Anyway, hans knows i'm having a tad problem that may prevent my jumping anyway. We'll see. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  19. I must have misunderstood things as I thought they were married like at least a month ago. Confused I am. O well. Probably my lack of paying attention as usual. Is the king air going to be the only plane running that weekend??? Skymama's #2 stalker -
  20. the part where he was obviously beaten repeatedly and shut up in a room for most of his childhood. Would explain a lot. I kid I kid walt. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  21. Walt you might want to look into some therapy. I think you are hiding some repressed feelings. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  22. I thought dented cans came from the devil. Hence they are evil. You wouldn't want to eat evil now would you?? Skymama's #2 stalker -
  23. I don't think the lady was being a poor parent. Kids throw tantrums for who knows what reason. Kid could have been tired, hungry, who knows. Kicking and screaming can be a parenting problem, I just think the plane environment is different for kids. It's not exactly easy to discipline your kid on a plane as well. You can't yell at them because your being a nuisance then. Most likely you can't hit or spank. I'm betting most parents on a plane pray from boarding to exit that the kids just behave and when they don't most try to do what is best given the situation. There are bad apples who do nothing and well an adult should point it out to them, or hell point it out to the child if he/she is old enough. Kids generally listen to strangers authority more than they do parents. Skymama's #2 stalker -
  24. Can't say that makes any sense. Perfect example is the many kids on the plane ride to ATL the other day that all were doing fine the whole flight. So good kids right?? Good parents as well?? The plane stopped short of the gate as another plane was at ours and a few of the kids began to cry, one was not wanting to stay seated. Probably just because they wanted off, and perhaps their ears hurt from coming down. The lady with the kid that wouldn't stay seated got up with the kid and the flight attendant got on the PA and said everyone needed to be seated with seatbelts on. So the lady sat in the seat with the kid screaming and doing what kids do to get out of being held, all probably because the kid knew we had stopped and wanted off the damn plane. It's not poor parenting, it's not bad kids, it's just kids. Yes it's annoying, whoop dee doo. Lots of things are annoying. Skymama's #2 stalker -
