Are you afraid of flying your canopy?

I'm sorry this is sort of a peeve of mine. I know a few people who in my opinion are scared of their canopy. Those people have been hurt, and maybe it was because of that. People who are afraid of their canopy scare me. Someone said it earlier, the canopy is flying them not them flying the canopy. I've never been scared of a canopy that i've been under. It's there to save my life and it's also a wing. I want to fly that wing, test it, see what it can do. That way when it does something wrong, or I need it to do something I can choose the correct path. Got a better Idea ever thought about Installing a Big Ass Train Horn. I had a buddy do that no shit. It was Loud as Hell I tell ya. It almost made other people wreck it was so damn loud. Every time I see Andrea posting, I'm reminded that I should pack a lunch and a thermos of coffee, but I don't. Almost every day I spend $5 on a mocha before work, $5 on a brownie and cup of regular coffee mid-morning, and $8-$15 on a restaurant lunch. That $20+ per day could definitely be better spent. I'm doing the Chattahoochee river front triathlon. I think it's 1000m swim 25 mile bike and a 10k. I never thought of my time goal. I just want to finish, well and beat lots of other people . Good thing for me is I'm pretty good on the bike, so maybe I can gain some ground timewise on other peeps. It's the run that will get me, but we'll see. We'll definitely have to post our results.
