I spoke with a person at SDO here is the latest. Jumper has about 7000 jumps, was on rear risers, never flared canopy, had one toggle in hand. Had a rod in one femur from prior injury that went through the femur. Both femurs have multiple compound fractures. Multiple facial fractures(severe trauma). Is in an induced coma. hummmmmmmm well I gave a poor soul my buddy passes so that he could visit his girl in Chicago....those were worth $450.00 ........ I spent 4 hours at the airport Trying to retreive someone so gas was $40.00 I made 5 jumps so that was $85.00 all in all I would say.........life is good. "Cheeky lil' thing aren't ya?" sez Ash

0:6:0 Damn if the winds didn't pick up at 9:30 so they day was done by then. I had to go pickup the neighbor(Mr.Thump) from the airport. Damn if the guy wasnt there like he said.GRRRRRRRRR I waited for an hour and began the trek home, and yea the phone rings 1/2 way there...... I turn around to retreive him , and upon catching up with him I find he is cussing on the phone in a mixture of German/English and Flemmish.....I hear lost luggage......budy pass......purchased ticket......I figure this is NOT good. I don't say a word.......I get in the car and the guy actually gets a wee bit short with me, so I turn to him and say...."Geez welcome back and........just so you know.you really look like shit!" LMAO It was so random.....but he got the messege. He is real lucky his day didn't get worse, cause I had half a mind to leave him there for all the nights his music has kept me awake!.........I should be from Iowa. Can y'all say sushi? I was in a seminar with another so called "Catalyst" at Nike. One of the first things that he did was stand up and say.."Who in here is a risk taker?" My hand shot straight up in the air, the only one in the group that did. He then said" Okay if you think you are a risk taker then take this envelope and do whatever it says inside infront of this group of your peers" I said alright and took the envelope. Inside the envelope was a note that read "enjoy" and a $50 bill. I said "thank you I will and thanks for paying for my next jump!" The speaker looked at me and said "what do you mean jump?" My reply was....."Why I jump out of not so perfectly good airplanes!" His eyes widened and he declared that I was definatley one that chooses to live in life rather than on the sideline watching it go by........I couldn't agree more. Date a whuffo?
