It was such a lovely warm evening; a warm breeze in the air, the stars bright and clear in the sky. The call of water beckoning to me, pulling me, enticing me. I decided to stroll over to the DZ for a late night swim.... The pathway from the trailer park to the DZ isn't a long one, but in the dark of night can be intimidating. The path set, the course clear.....I was on a mission. I reached the outskirts of the Bent Prop, not too many cars but also too many lights. I reached the Volleyball court, lights were on, so I walked over and turned them off. I begin to make my way to the pool oh crud I get hit with cold water from the sprinkler! Well I thought at least the pool will feel warm. I made my way to the gate, looked around then proceeded to shed myself from the cumbersome clothes that were about my body. I went to the pool edge and lowered myslef into the cool waters.......mmmmmm lovely. It was a perfect night for swimming and my body reveled in the feel of the water until.............OMG!! The manager was doing rounds!! I watched in silence hanging in the shadows as he went from door to door often slipping under the water for fear he would hear me laughing. Oh crud....I knew at that moment that I was not going to get out without being seen....and I was feeling like a child that had been caught doing something naughty! Clinging close to the edge of the pool I see him make his way to the gate, time begins to move very slowly as he opens it.....Then he sees me! Uh oh! I laugh and say "hiya!" and he says......."ooooo not good!" I'm thinking ummmm ok....he says;" I shocked the pool this evening, you are going to have red spots all over!!!!" I then said: "ok thanks, I'll exfoliate really well!" and heave myself out of the pool in front of him as he stood there gawking, and grab my towel. I walk over to the communal shower, rinse off in the hot water, relaxed and ready for sleep....the walk home was kinda cold....... the shorts and bikini top I wore in the pool dripping all the way....... Gotcha

3:10:0 First time seeing a demo at night through flames at Firebird Raceway. First time playing Airplane with Neal from Airspeed (what a hoot) just like a kid! First time jumping at 6:00 AM.....man was it ever beautiful. Ten training jumps with new cameraman....I had to laugh because he asked me:"If I bump into you in the air are you going to yell at me?" LOL My reply was:"Only if you knock a bunch of teeth out, then again my friends at DZ.Com will enjoy you buying them all a round!" Cheers!

Well Clay darlin' some days you're better off staying in bed..........NOT! But there are days when I know I should just pack it in for the day becuase it really does'nt look like it's going to get any better. Today was one of those days! My cameraman had proximity issues today, I had issues with stability in a couple of transitions, and after about 7 jumps I threw in the pull-up cord. It just wasn't working....then another camerman asked if I would jump with him (He has been asking for 3 weeks now) and I had to tell him I was done for the day. Mega bummer! Additionally, it's damn hot and tonight is the demo jump at the speedway......I'm tired but am obligated. Time to buck up little buckaroo.......think I'll take a nap first
