well ok then here's my .02 Airspeed uses them, Freeflight uses them, Skysurf etc........and I do as well. Although not required, U.S.P.A Competition Manual recommends the use of functioning and armed AAD's by all Artistic Events team members........I understand the risk associated with flying with one.....but I think my odds of survival are better with than without should I see stars where there aint supposed to be any!! I just purchased a new Sabre2 120 and absolutely love it! My prioir canopy was a Triathalon 150. My wing loading on the Trialthalon was .9 so there wasn't much forward speed, and the flare was always a hard one. I was always on the front risers to gain speed to land and that in itself was a chore. It was also a longer canopy ride. The nice thing about the Tri is that it is a more "forgiving", conservative canopy. I suggest that you demo one before making the decision to give up on your Sabre2. Hope this is helpful to you. -

I like my FliteSuit ff pants too! Next time tho I will look for some that do not have a snap on the front part of the leg near the ankle, it hits in a spot that ends up sore everyday, and,once I landed "incorrectly" and the snap made a bruise on my leg....Their full FF suits are nice too.

Well Jess...... I chose a canopy (and paid for it) closest thing to what I had before that I really liked. I went in to pick up my new canopy today..........that one was sold!! I was not a happy camper, alright well i will take the royal and lemon one then....Gone you say? *(&(**&^ well, ok so what are my choices since I don't want to order one and wait 10 weeks? Ugly.....ummmmm uglier.......plain ewwwwwww and double ewwwwwwww!!!! But, but my canopy is gone.......they have my money and I am leaving soon.......grrrrrrr. Fortunately for me Margy at SQ2 ordered in the one that I would have chosen. Just plain ole ugly. LOL ah well.........this canopy is going to love me, and I'll treat her right cause every once in awhile, ugly ducklings turn into swans....... Cheers!
