OK all you skydiving fans I need some suggestions. I have from Dec 25 to Jan 2 off (no work and no kids) so I need to find some trouble. Whose DZ is having a bash during that time? Becca had hers on weekend before last on an 18 way. Funny but I had no trouble finding her and getting my grip...I did have to control the urge to take a bite out of the :bubble gum" though!!! Bad life???? Trust me, you will get over the feelings of hurt and realize not ever female is terrible. My EX-almost-wife?????? As for my kids. I have them every other weekend so I can hit the DZ fairly frequently. I have taken them to watch me jump but since there are no kids ther anymore they get bored quickly. During the summer my ex is supposed toget them 4 weeks but doesn't because of work. I generally trade a weekend or two or three with him since I'm off all summer and we can play during the week then they can have fun with their dad on the weekends and I can play with the gang at the DZ. Lately I haven't had any time off without the girls so I've missed out on the DZ scene or weather has been nasty. I guess you have to choose what is most important to you. I damn near used to be pretty close to that woman when I was married. I worked , raised two children, cooked EVERY night, did the dishes alone, did homework with the kids, cleaned the house on weekends, listend to his gripes without responding, never asked for anything, turned over my paycheck blindly, watched football even though I had no clue what was going on, apologized for everything...yada yada yada. NOW, I am happily divorced, own my own home in my name, keep my own pool, clean my own pool, raise my two children, do homework with them, cook when I want to, pay a maid to clean up the mess, pay a yard man to keep the yards, pay my own bills, go to the store when I want to and write a check if I feel like it,and I SKYDIVE without asking anyone's permission or forgiveness for any of the above. several people at my DZ use a regular suitcase on wheels for their gear. You can get all sizes and colors plus they are flat when you open them up so none of your stuff falls out. Lisa -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

I voted to change things even though I think all my past experiences have shaped who I am as a person now. Honestly who would really go through a nasty divorce, loss of a loved one, illnesses, accidents and dishonesties if they didn't have to; however, that is what makes us sho we are...the good and the bad. I have learned to be strong and stand on my own merit without a guy so it is hard for me to say I ever want to go back to how things were when I was married. I do know that this effects my relationships now. One good thing that came out of this was skydiving....my ex just looks at my bumper sticker and shakes his head.

OK...so the house is his...so be it. If he were really a nice guy who cared about you HE would be worried about where you are rather than if you are imposing on him. I assume you are not financially well off or you would have found a better place to stay to begin with. So I suggest one of the following options. 1. Find a friend to stay with near where you are 2. Talk to your DZO about staying at the DZ I would suggest telling this guy where to go and how to get off as he seems every insensitive....but then I am generally a B*tch. Zennie... It is because I like purple.... and because the Mirage I found small enough to fit me and new but cheap was purple and teal which matched my slightly used purple and teal jumpsuit. My main even has pink and purple on it so I guess I'm fairly color coordinated for mixing and matching stuff. I have even redone my bedroom in egplant purple and red so I guess it grows on ya. I can clean up according to my old classmates at my 20th class reunion, (I freaked a few of those snobs out...WAHOO!!) but my favorite attire is a pair of shorts and a sports bra at the DZ. I tend to wear makeup every day just because it is a habit and because I'm old and want to hide some of the wrinkles. There are some pics of me floating but I don't have the computer literacy to inset them where I want them, so I guess they shall stay in the twilight zone.
